River Bank at Sunset

Digg!

I came back to Perai River today evening. This is the place where I stayed nearby a few years back.

There are Mangrove trees along the whole stretch of river bank. Crabs that dwell in the swamp used to be trapped for a good meal.

At the far side, a wader looked like white Stork was seen wading along the wet land.

I walked around searching for some good angles for my pictures on sunset. My luck might be good as I found a few fishing rods which I believed can help to talk my pictures better than human. The silent talk must be the best, if there is any.

I smiled to the owner of the fishing rods. We smiled to each other tacitly.

I have never thought of taking pictures over here before. I have never imagined how can I produce good pictures at this river bank which looks nothing special, muddy and, I hate to say, dirty.

At this moment, I do not know whether I have been fooled or you have been manipulated.

Initially, I ended the post with "You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly", but after following through the latest local political development, I changed it to the present one.

Getting a good photo sometimes is only a matter of luck and being in the right place at the right time. You couldn't have planned having that wading bird pose for you.

On the other hand planning to get a good photo is necessary. I'd never get a sunset photo unless I planned to go somewhere and get out of the woods so I can see it.

Loved the bird photo! We don't have any birds like that in Upper Michigan. But I am on my way down to Florida, so I hope to capture some of the birds down there on my camera to share too.

Seeing that bird makes that place very worthwhile. The sunset photos were great, and you're right, the fishing poles gave them some added character. Even a place that might not seem good at first, could turn out to be very interesting.

WiseAcre ...Luck plays a major part if we continue to explore

The Retired One...You were still reading along the journey. Waiting to see some surprises from you.

Ratty...We can make the Mother Nature looks good in pictures, yet damages done by human will forever destroy Her.

yes, the sunset picture is too beautiful and the light reflected on water did not show the muddiness of the river. and you're very correct, the fishing pole there talks and gave the sunset picture more depth.

Ya. One thing good about photography is it will make us becoming more observant, sensitive to the environment, which we may not aware even we walk past everyday. The "cherry flowers" in front of BenQ should be blossom already. Usually the view at this time is beautiful. I don't know whether you have noticed that.

Anonymous...Have not noticed the cherry tree started to blossom that day. Is a good idea to go back for a few pictures as well as memories at those good times.
