A Jungle Story

I am always very playful, especially with my camera. I do believe this will always end with some unexpected discoveries, or in my term, pots of gold. What if I continue to be more playful, can I be as successful as Thomas Edison?

I saw this dead tree which looked nothing special while walking in the huge jungle, and its picture never tell me a fantastic story. But then,

I saw a flying eagle up in the blue sky. An eagle is a big bird, it did look like a little butterfly. Do you prefer to be a big eagle or a little butterfly?

This monkey seemed to think like Aristotle, our great philosopher: " Why do you call it an eagle who actually is a butterfly?"

"Liars when they speak the truth are not believed. "

We never know what's going on in that monkey's mind as it paused a while with such steely gaze. ~bangchik

The monkey is definitely very thoughtful. I'm glad you were able to show us both an eagle and a butterfly at the same time.

Loshini:
Bird, butterfly, in the eyes of a monkey. Nice one.

Bangchik:
Monkeys always pretend to be a philosopher because they believe they are a philosopher.

fufu:
Have not seen you for some times. You must be very busy recently.

Icy BC:
Have a great weekend, and don't spend time contemplating on something.

George:
You are good...
I realise then I am good too to show both an eagle and a butterfly at the same time.

Willie:
You are certainly playful. Men are playful.

Mei Teng:
If you are flying up there, then the monkey must be eyeing on you.

lim:
I want to be neither. I continue to be a hiker.

Kirigalpoththa:
Really? I have to re-think then.

wiseacre:
I pay the monkey money for that pose. It certainly worth that. I think.

You captured the monkey in a beautiful pose. It does look deep in thought. I wonder if animals actually think or if they're just experiencing.

:) so funny how the monkey thinks, monkey tales always bring joy, indeed, why did you call it a eagle when it is a butterfyly :)

Great post on perspectives!!!
Love, love, love it everytime you show us your monkey pictures in the jungle!

I preferred butterfly as big as eagle :D

Maybe the monkey is the Aristotle of monkeys. And I don't prefer to be an eagle or a butterfly, though both would be fun. I would prefer to be a human that pretends to be a mouse.

The dead tree looks like a big snake which is scaring the eagle to make itself look like a tiny butterfly and the monkey is wondering why there are no bananas in the dead tree.

Diane:
Monkeys are our close relative, by studying their behaviour, I believe they do learn and think.

betchai:
I have another monkey tale which came dashing towards me last Sunday morning at Cerok Tokun. Stay on-tune.
"why did you call it a eagle when it is a butterfyly?"
If I called a butterfly a butterfly, then I would end up with no story.

The Retired One:
The, I'll make sure you see more monkeys in my blog.

VanillaSeven:
Then, you have it in this post!

Ratty:
If the monkey is the Aristotle of monkeys, we must then have Ratty of monkeys. Am I right?

AVCr8teur:
You tell a better story than me. LOL.

Ayie:
My jungle stories are always rich because the jungle is so big.

While I love trees, that dead tree is a bit haunting. Butterfly or Eagle, either/or is entertaining and beautiful. I have to say though that monkey is a cutie. He has wonder in his eyes.

Wow a metaphorical story this time. Rain you sure know how to surprise us. =D oh and I could never guess that was an eagle.

Besides 'monkey and the great Aristotle' who on earth can ever come up with such a comparison but you! lol
