Monkey Story

Do you need any workout after a forty-five minutes hike?

There is a new playground recently at the second stop where people can build muscles of other parts of body. This must be the theory. Otherwise we shall look very odd if we stress only our leg muscles the whole year long. But then, it must be too early for the rest in this morning. This place was empty.

Except for a lonely monkey, and this triggered my imagination again.

It is well known that monkeys learn, catch up and imitate what they have experienced from human behaviour very fast. What will happen during some quiet moments when there are no visitors around? Will the monkeys flex and stretch their muscles as what human does? I do not have the answer, but there certainly have some funny and interesting hidden stories.

The monkey showed me its suspicion and uneasiness when I tried to approach for some clarification. Its size was so small in comparison to the equipment. They must then look very cute and weird when trying to play around. What if there is a huge group of monkeys, fighting with each other in order to occupy the equipment, how the actual scene should be?

Anyhow, it was only a monkey available and it refused to tell me the interesting part of their story.

It simply walked away as I got myself closer. It did not have the interest in me. What a deadly dull monkey! It preferred to keep their secret. Maybe I shall ask some nearby trees for clues next time.

I do not have the answer, and so you are, yet there is no harm to let your imagination flying wild. Anyhow, those monkeys never bother what we have thought and how we shall tell the story.

They never surf Internet. They have less problems and worries.

Even with such vibrant colors, I doubt that playground could offer as much to a monkey as its jungle playground already does!

One time I was photographing too close to some monkeys...after which one of them hissed at me...showing its fangs. I got scared and quickly backed off and walked away. I don't want monkey attack!

"They never surf Internet. They have less problems and worries." lol Agree with that 200%.. =D

Monkeys are strange creatures of the jungle. I've noticed with the monkeys in our country that they are not afraid of humans plus they love our food. They don't mind tasting just fruits, but even sandwiches, rice and curry, cakes, sweet treats, etc. It might be cuz they have a high level of curiosity and are never afraid of trying out new things. =D

So I bet this place is like their secret hangout.. if not for a group.. least for that lone monkey. Cuz it can swing and hang down on bars, can climb up and down on poles, and simply recline and relax and enjoy the beauty of its habitat. ^__^

So ya.. it could turn out to be a great monkey hangout.. you never know. lol Thanks for the great pics! =D

Heather Dugan:: You may be right. They like the natural playground more than this. But, will they imitate?

Mei Teng:: We shall be in trouble once they have been provoked. Human better don't play play with monkeys.

Willie:: If we can talk their language, then we can have many stories from them. Tarzan?

betchai:: You are absolutely right. They must be happier than us. Why? Because, at least, they just eat whatever they can find in the jungle.

Kirigalpoththa:: You mean they really exercise daily? They must have gym out there.

cherie:: This is the inspiration by the monkey. I just cannot write without its help.

Harumi:: Wow!!! You have almost written a full post of the day. BTW, will the monkey shout "Hot! Hot!" if it take some hot and spicy curry?

Those are colorful equipments, but I am sure the monkeys has more fun with their jungle than "surf the net".

Don't tell anybody, but that kid by the playground is very ugly. :D

I wonder what would happen if the monkeys wanted that place for themselves. It would be fun to watch the monkeys trying to use those things.

Icy BC:: I would rather say they like the equipment and laugh all the way playing with them in the manner human use them. They think human are funny.

Ratty:: I'll tell others not to tell others he is ugly.

Ginnymo:: Let's beat it!! They sing MJ's songs.

It would have been interesting to get a picture of the monkey on one of the pieces of equipment. Thanks for the great post.
