My Family Time

A short break from my Cerok Tokun....

I repaired my bicycle and then went for a ride with my family in the evening at my neighbourhood. These mynahs never felt alone as a couple, just like us. They took their time strolling around. An evening walk as well?

Parked our bicycles in front of sunset. It was a good time we had enjoyed.

And this still go back to the joy of a simple life. We spend nothing for this family time, yet able to enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of our neighbourhood.

It's odd that I'm commenting on a post dated Tuesday 13 when I'm still on Monday 12th. Your neighbourhood sounds peaceful with the exception of the minah birds, they're usually making noise in the mornings and evenings I suspect. Beautiful images of the sunset.

Cate: This is what I usually feel about. We take turns on blogging, you are active when I am asleep, and vice versa. So funny yet real.

Diane: It is very true that the best things in life are free, we do not need to pursue anything that is beyond our limit.

Salitype: The sunset pictures are not planned, but it turned out to be one of the best scene during this hour.

Footsteps: My hiking at Cerok Tokun always sees me alone. This is one of my lovely hour, with my family and pet dog.

The Retired One: I know you would definite love it. You have many similar one which are very good.

The last time I rode a bicycle was like ages ago and I am not sure if I can ride one today.

Cycling is good. Just that I don't think our M'sian roads are safe and conducive for cycling. I believe it's safer to cycle in parks.

This is beautiful rainfield..You really don't have to spend anything to have an enjoyable time!

Ginnymo: Oh yes! You have changed your photo! Family can make everything looks good.

Mei Teng: I am living nearby a kampong, or village. I have paddy fields and oil palm plantations as my neighbours. So, cycling is basically "safe" for us.

Kirigalpoththa/Tes: Sunset in picture is beautiful.

Tabib/Gallicissa: I pretend to be, ha ha!!

Icy BC: They are free, same as your cloud. This is our enjoyable time.

Spending time with family is sometimes even better than being alone hiking. Sharing time with family is maybe the most important thing of all.

Bengbeng: I am glad to have reminded you about this. I have thought of this seriously lately.

Cher: So why we then complaint there is no fairness in life? lol.

VanillaSeven: Ha ha, thank you.

Ayie: The couple of mynahs shared their time quietly, they did make a lot of noises sometimes. lol.

Ratty: Sharing time with family is very important. Family is not replacable.

hey, rainy, thanks for the drop by. i only had one encounter with a mynah before - it was a pet in a cage and whistled to me like some fresh boy, when it saw me pass by the window!~~~well, i live for family time, and i am happy to read that you took them out on that day.

It's a great time of day to be out and armed with a camera!

I love the orange hue of sunrises and sunsets, lovely indeed.

Mynahs are definitely not as cute as they seem to be. They are territorial birds and those around my house fight among themselves for their mates, are bullies and snatch away the cosy nests of the poor magpies. I think that witnessing a beautiful sunset with your family is the most romantic think to do. Those in your pictures are certainly very breathtaking indeed.
