The Turn

If you do ever think of a successful hide behind a twist or a turn , you maybe wrong. A pair of eyes is looking at you from a distance, you may not know, but he is always out there.

And you may not know what is happening behind the turn, not before you have struggled through the uphill turn, but the pair of eyes knows that.

He knows that, not because he is gifted with super powers, but is just standing outside the mysterious turn.

Anyhow, the sleeping turtle is there waiting for you immediately after this uphill turn. You have then spent more than one hour on the hiking, you are panting, you are tired. It may awake at anytime.

The trail is getting steeper, the peak is not far away anymore, but you have to pass by the sleeping turtle first.

Quite a dangerously sharp turn. Where is that located?

that's a sharp curve turn but a beautiful path to take!

This is a wonderful photo of the turn. It's just too bad that the sleeping turtle is around the bend.

Ah, this is one of your adventure days again rain, love the steep look of that road. Typical too for some roads in Philippines.

The twisting turn.... then I remember a similar turn in Penang Island... and durians hanging down beautifully the whole stretch.

It looks like it will take some effort to hike around that uphill turn in the path and not awaken the sleeping turtle.

Kirigalpoththa/Willie/VanillaSeven/Ayie: Cerok Tokun is a beautiful place that is full of wonder, at least, in my eyes.

George: It is still safe by now, the turtle is sleeping. When the turtle is awake, you will read the headline in your local news.

Salitype/Pacey/Bengnbeng: As we go higher, we shall see more sharp turns, and hiking is getting tougher then.

Bangchik: You must be saying Balik Pulau. The whole stretch of road is full of durian trees.

it sure looks like a sharp turn but there's nothing more beautiful than the path itself.

I think I see a pair of eyes staring at me from under that tree, but they are very awake. Watching and waiting.

ooh...it's 'that' sleeping turtle, no way! The curve is beautiful to look at minus the turtle. Nice capture, Rani! :)

I think this path leads to the Flower Fruit Mountain (Hua Kuo Shan. Maybe one day you might meet Sun Wukong and the centuries old Tortoise friend.

Diane: That's why we need to breath quietly which we always fail to in order not to awaken the turtle. It will awake in one day....

Life Ramblings: It looks nice only on a distant view, and I noticed this when I came out from the forest.

Ratty: These are the tree spirits, I remember they tried to talk to me a long time ago, but I sprinted away. How is your experience?

Tes: The sleeping turtle is my "sleeping beauty". If "you" are able to kiss "him", it may be awakened. I think so.

Cher: That turn is is sure fascinating, and keep turning in my mind.

Autumn Belle: The version 2 Flower Fruit Mountain is found here. I can't identify who is Sun Wukong.

I've been on your blog most of the day yesterday, but for some reasons couldn't leave a message!

That is a really steep curve, but beautiful view though..

Every sharp turn comes with a new way....some time unexpectedly.

Nice shot with beautiful lines.

Icy BC: There is a sharp turn in between us. This might be the reason. lol.

Sharodindu: You have it very right. We shouldn't feel uneasy when facing any sharp turn. Thing may turn out right.
