Cerok Tokun Web

I was delighted to have spotted this web site. This is one of the beautiful and interesting orb webs I have ever seen so far, and thank to the trapped debris that was big enough to provide me with a useful focus point.

Looking for spider webs along my hiking trail has added more fun to my exploration. But it much depends on luck on how the sun shines, where the cobwebs locate, etc. in order to get a decent picture.

And it is even more interesting when I am able to find them again in a complete shape on my next trip. The size never grows for most of the time, but certainly not the story behind the web which has happened over the past few days, in the day and night, in the rain and wind.

Although this three-dimensional tent web looks messy, but its waterproof nature has kept the water droplets as lines of jewels and make it as attractive as my earlier discovery.

rainfield that's an interesting form right there...

you have good captures of the webs, it's not that easy to get good shots of those thread like wonders

They are indeed interesting intertwines...that first one is very artistically done. I've never been so successful with web shots but yours are truly great.

The second picture is stunning, and the web is fantastic. Beautiful raindrops on it..

You have captured a great shot of the spider web in the second picture. Spiders are such master crafters but the webs that they spin are so fragile. A walk accross or a playful hand and we damage their webs. In reality, this web can be a trap for food for the spider, a beautiful work of art for Rainfield or an obstruction to some people.

These are beautiful and unusual spiderwebs. The first one with a maze-like design and the second with the tent web. Very cool finds!

That is one of the most beautiful and interesting websites I've ever seen. Those little eight legged webmasters really know what they're doing.

Some people say there is no God but it makes me wonder how such tiny creatures can spin something so complex.

No college course or university required just wonderful nature at work

Great pics.

i am not a great fan of spider but i in awe of what they can create...a web. a home for them and a net to trap their food.

i love the first picture, it almost feels like i am looking at a vortex.and yes, the bejeweled web is something else!

Ayie: This is one of the webs that is capturable. Not all of them appeared to be interesting.
I am exploring further for some more. Good luck to me.

Pacey: It is luck that counts. Right timing and right place make photography feasible.

Icy BC: I have the feeling that all these pictures are my baby. Am so happy when they are "born" beautiful.

Autumn Belle: A playful hand can damage their webs, which is the trap for their food, you are totally right, but this is the survival of the fittest.

Diane: It maybe more out there. A further exploration will have an answer to this.

Ratty: Those little eight legged webmasters design their websites so beautifully, and better than mine.

Mike: They are born designer and architects.

Kirigalpoththa: Then, how about Spiderman?

Salitype: I am not a fan of spider as well, but i like to picture those webs, they are hard to be captured, and some of them are fantastic in shape.

cherie: Ha! Ha! You are reminding me about the ssssssssnake again. Hopefully I shall not have a bad dream tonight.

You've posted a couple of wonderful pictures of spider webs. I especially like the second one with the dew drops on it.

The 1st pic looks like some kind of compass! ;)

You are a fantastic photographer. To be able to get detailed shots like these is very difficult, yet you've captured them in all their glorious details.

Windie: Nature is not belong to me, you are most welcome to sail and witness everything together.

You have a nice blog.

George: The bejeweled web is a luxurous one, and is your choice.

Tabib: CTW, Cerok Tokun Web. And the compass lead you there.

Poetic Shutterbug: It was solely by chance to be able to get detailed shots like this.
Or maybe I receive a generous treat from the Nature.

Some lovely websites. Nice pattern on the first one, well spotted. With time to explore all these, I guess your walks have got slower.

Impressive shots as webs are so hard to photograph. And they are such artistic elements of nature with their delicate beauty.
