Grasshopper and the Story

I like this: "Just like magnifying the grasshopper, I am magnifying my joy of photography." How do you think?

I spotted my grasshopper while I was moving around the wheel. It looked so tidy and gave me the opportunity to concur with what I have read.

The quote applies only to grasshopper or alike, but not the following one. I do not know whether it is a baby snake or a black worm, but I waste no time to study or analyse. It is not my favourite.

To discover something in the nature does not require me to keep travelling. This is what I have learned and experienced. Though I do not need to stay for hours, somehow the same old place does produce a variety of events. As I moved around this same place, I found the grasshopper just came along to MyJourney. Same to this tiny long critter, it just crawled along and disappeared.

Fun, is what I can say. I can enjoy the Nature in various ways. And I would like the end this post with another quote by Eugene Delacroix, "Nature is a dictionary; one draws words from it." (Special thanks to Cate for sharing this).

Nature is always putting on a new show. I have to go back over and over to the same spots to see the new lineup.

There is always something new and interesting to see in nature. Your picture of the snake (or worm) is interesting, but the picture of the grasshopper is magnificent.

I think that one is a worm...
I had experience with a leech during trekking long time ago. It slipped inside my socks and keep pumping my blood out. Good thing I found that quickly and my friend poured a tobacco water on it and it came off!

Mei Teng: Eek is my feeling as well....

WiseAcre: If you go back to the same mirror, you will find a new face day after day, I call this a wiser face.

George: That's why this magnifying my joy so much.

fufu: so when will you come over for the hiking?

VanillaSeven: I did see leech standing upright in the middle of the path. It was interesting but yet eek...

Grasshopper is cool!

The earth must be very soggy to see those worms around

I will go with you for the grasshopper, but the black one, no way..

Now that's another type of grasshopper. I have seen several huge ones in Asia! The shot is luminously clear. Good job, Rainy! The worm on the other hand has an artistic contrast against that leaf! Nice!

Rainfield great shots.

I believe the "snake" is actually a blind worm here they are called incorrectly "flowerpot snakes" since they like to take up residence in your flower pots!

Nice to have the grasshopper and worm visit you during your photo outing. I wonder what you will encounter next time.

Thanks again for your comment on my blog.

Bengbeng/Kirigalpoththa: Base on Mike's comment, I do believe too it is a blind snake or flowerpot snake.

Icy BC: Haha.. You are very firm. No way!

Tes: I am magnifying my joy, hopefully I can share some of mine with you.

Mike: Thank you for you information. It do help to clear my doubt.

AVCr8teur: Just wait for the new one to come. Haha...

When I run my trails I'm alert for obstacles like tree roots and boulders, but always jump the highest for the snakes, ha!

cherie: It is my delight to see you appreciate what I appreciate.

Autumn Belle: If you can follow me all the while, you can appreciate nature like me.

Saltype: Nature is a vessel to which mortals drinks for inspiration. What a great finding of the day for me.

Heather Dugan: I remember my son fell down from his bicycle when he saw the body of a dead snake. Haha..

I like the grasshopper. It's very colorful. If that is a worm, it's the longest one I've ever seen.

Oh, I actually like the black worm! It's like a string of squeezed out black paint, but it can change its art every minute

Bangchik and Kakdah said...

I wonder the exact function of the lovely pair of antenna on its head... feeler? or weapon like double pronged swords? ~bangchik

maricar: This is the most interesting description. I am like a book, a standard one text book? Thanks for the comment.

Ratty: If you like, the worm can be yours.

Sharkbytes: That's good and great imagination. Your brain works better than mine. lol.

Bangchik and Kakdah: Be careful when you get near, it is a killer!!

mommyscchoo@yahoo.com: Hi Miss Choo, that's no problem. You can duplicate as many as you want. It is totally free.
