The monkeys just spread themselves over the places. I should end up with nothing if I chose to chase after two rabbits, this is what I had been taught by a wise man. I had then focused at a particular group of them; if I kept my patience, I must be able to disclose some of their privacy. Again, You must agree with me that everyone enjoys knowing other people's secret, and enjoys more when sharing these in the "coffee shop gossip". Sorry to say, I am one of these ordinary people.
So I stayed near to them quietly, hoping to discover something interesting to me and to you, but might not to them. (Come on, are you thinking that you are not as sinful as me? You must have been waiting for something from me right now, aren't you?) Someone's secrets usually look fun to others but it actually hurts the former when they are no more secrets.
This monkey must fully agree with me. It seemed to be rejecting an intruder and a paparazzi who kept pointing his camera at them. "Who are you to get into our world?" It turned and stood up to protest. This paparazzi ignored any of its protest, and I knew I had to continue shooting.
Upon knowing the protest was in vain, the monkey decided on the next move. It must be the leader and the rest seemed to leave everything to this guy. "Are you going to jump towards me?" "I have kept a safe distance, I must be alright."
Oh my friend had lost its patience with me. It leaned against a tree signalling its final warning to me. "You go or I'll jump!" "Don't you try to challenge me!!"
I had to forgo my professionalism as a paparazzi. I had to pretend I had have enough for the headline.
You should have known I have disappointed you all by now. I do not have any of their secrets to show you.

I have no story for you today.

I was told you musn't stare too long at those long tailed macques. They might think you're challenging them and they might attack.
There is a story in your "no story". I always love your monkey pictures since I don't get to see them as often as you do unless I go to the zoo!
You always have "a story" because you excel at describing. ~Glad the monkeys stayed up in the tree!
I was similarly fascinated to watch spider monkeys in Mexico a few years back and love to watch them swing through the branches!
He certainly looked like he was challenging you to a fight..you were wise to leave him alone and get out of there!
Would like to see the next shot ;)
He jumped at you didn he?
It surely have a good story..
wonderful poses :) seems like they enjoyed the photoshoot with you :) but just pretending they were annoyed by the paparazzi :)
enjoyed all pictures!
It looks as if you came very close to having a story of a fight with a monkey. Monkeys seem to get angry like squirrels. I think I'm lucky that my squirrels are so small. I would leave the monkey alone too. No story is a good story today.
the pictures tell your story... my little girl address those monkeys as her brothers. lol!
I think you did a wonderful job of telling the story of this 'non-story'. The pictures are wonderful.
Yea, their hairstyles are very authentic.... how's yours that day?.. I just had a feeling, they felt very much intimidated by an intruder with immaculate hairdo!!
A nice day to you

Well the story is he looked like he was ready to attack and wants to keep his secret, a secret. Now you know they have secrets. Great photos, I love seeing these monkey shots.
That was a spine-chilling moment! I so thought you'd have one more shot afterwards but.. then again like everyone said it wasn't a wise idea to hang about after that challenging pose. Cuz I fear the next shot might have the monkey doing the champion pose after defeating you with a KO! =D
Some monkeys enjoy the company of humans, esp. the ones living inside cities or villages.. but in the company of jungle monkeys, it's better to be more cautious.
PS: your 'no-story' story was the best! =D
Guess he's not a boy scout troop leader if he's looking for a fight.
Mei Teng: Yes madam. I am just an insane who do not follow instruction.
Icy BC: I was confused by myself, I confirm the confusion again. a story form no story??
Heather Dugan: I do not know whether i can run faster than the monkey, maybe yes, but if they come from all direction.....
The Retired One: I was insane earlier, but became "wiser" later.
Kirigapoththa: The next photo? It won't be available until the monkeys bet on me on how I react if it start the gifht.
betchai: If i can teach the monkey to take photo, then I'll pose together with them.
Ratty: If there is a story, it must be a sad and bad story.
Cher: You must keep this secret within your family. lol.
George: I am sorry to make the fun from them. I'll say sorry to them tomorrow.
Bangchik and Kakdah: I have to confirm my hair style then when I reach home. Will tell you later.
Poetic Shutterbug: You have found a secret from a no-secret story. Good job.
Harumi: Champion pose? You make me thinking of the ring, the boxing ring. I was lying on the floor, and the monkey raises its hand high up.
Wiseacre: Boy scout must be a good boy who will be bullied these monkey. Of course, they are not boy scouts.
I better run away if I see it stares at me.
No play play with these monkeys. They are in a big group in the jungle.
Great story, all told in pictures. that monkey gave you the challenge. I have been chased by monkeys and its a bit scary even though they are smaller, they are still wild.
lovely captures...they must be lovin' it!
