Life List

I was inside a huge cage watching cages of animals.

Feeling so excited.

I photographed owls and I talked about owls. They were my lifers.

But the owls were bored.

I was only one of the many thousands passersby who came and went. Do they keep a "life list" too?

They closed their eyes, as if to say, "Wait until you are a rat, I shall then have interest in you."

Hello, beautiful shot of the owl and is the first one a Tawny Frogmouth? I am sure the owl would love to eat a rat.
Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

If you are not going to eat him, and he is not going to eat you, why should the owl care about you?

The owls are lovely. You must have had a hard time getting a good picture of the white one. They are usually hard to see.

I really like the owl pictures, because they're owls of course. I have never seen an owl myself. I don't even know if there are any owls where I live now. I hope there are.

Sweet photos and how true your post ~ I don't like caged animals ~ Everyone should be free ~ to be ~ and do.

Happy Days to you ~ ^_^

Who is watching who? Whooo? Beautiful pictures. There are owls in the wild where we live both in Florida and here in Oregon, but I never see them, except for the little burrowing ones who live on the ground in Florida. (Which always makes me wonder -- if you were a bird, why would you live on the ground?)

'owl' in local slang language in Sri Lanka means 'worried'. So the owl must be 'owl'.
