A Brief Visit

A family of Scaly-breasted Munia took shelter at my front yard during a drizzling afternoon. They were actually a foot apart from me; but its seemed to be a hundred feet away as they never noticed me behind the tinted window glass.

The parents were busy at flying back and forth for the feeding routine, and

another unlucky worm that had made a fatal mistake which only others could learn from.

I went out for some clearer shots. This juvenile hesitated initially, it then struggled, fell onto the floor and finally managed to fly away.

Only the lesson wouldn't fly.

Kife cycle, one day you are a worm, another day, you become eaten.

Wonderful shots!!! Clear and beautiful. Wonder how did that baby reached there in the first place. Was there a nest?

What a pretty bird! You must be a huge monster to scare that baby into "dropping dead!"

Am I a worm? Yike!!!!

But it was so nice that they dropped by though I have have no idea where they stayed.

By the way, I rather be a bird than a worm, if there is a choice.
