And the vine has to hunch its back to such a degree. A little additional weight may then break it off.
There are continuous surprises in the eyes of an opportunistic wanderer hunter like me. I always read all of them very optimistically. I maybe right at this time, I may not be right as well.

I only read in my own way.
You cannot tell until you see the colour on the other side of a piece of paper.
Is the chrysalis too heavy? Is it loaded with excessive hope for tomorrow, or the unnecessary sadness for the unknown future? Can slight extra of either one break the vine off?
How do you think?
How do you think?

Only saw a dead leaf about to drop off the crooked twig...
Sort like you have other profound meaning! ^:^
interesting interpretation!
Oh! I hope its not too heavy. I am rooting for every butterfly in the world! (Especially the ones in India that eat poison ivy)
I'm with Shark, I love butterflies - California has the beautiful Monarchs. I hope a lovely butterfly bursts forth to flutter about in Malaysia and to accompany you on one of your walks!
A lovely necklace, as a precious present to a caring gardener! ~bangchik
Hope you get to capture the rest of the cycle and share it with us!
Oh rainfield, you're such a philosopher with a very interesting concept at translating what you see. I'm catching it!
The tracking/hiking and the findings are the reflections of yourself, am i right?
The chrysalis looks precarious on the branch but I think the butterfly is going to be okay. I trust that the caterpillar chose a good place.
I certainly hope it is not too heavy. I also hope you will keep an eye on this and let us know what happens. I like your photo, but I also like your thoughts.
It may be too heavy either way but it will hang on and survive. Your poetic thoughts and philosophical musings are wonderous Rainfield.
If that is a chrysalis it will hang on long enough to hatch, nature is wonderful like that, the branch will hold. Maybe it is just a dead leaf which will fall in time, but the branch will not break. Love butterflies.
The vine will definitely hold. It will bear the weight silently, just like Mother Nature.
Think with wisdom...and a dash of healthy creativity! :)
Lovely post as usual!
Red Chilly:
No. It is in fact a chrysalis. My poor photography skill have just misled you.
wenn:
Different people interpretes differently. Same person interpretes differently under different circumstances.
Sharkbytes:
Really? Then I may have to post most butterflies for your collection. LOL.
RNSANE:
I have had once a butterfly hovering above me during my hiking. The feeling was very perculiar.
Bangchik:
A lovely necklace, what a good interpretation by you.
Life Ramblings:
This is quite tough to me. I have to eat, sleep and so on near this chrysalis in order to do this.
Icy BC:
This is only one of my those days...
Bleeding Heart:
I wonder you are reading my mind. You are really a dangerous species.
Diane:
How does a caterpillar choose the right place? Does he toss a coin? Which hand does he use?
George:
Hopefully it is not. If the vine won't break off, the tree will fall down. Will it?
Poetic Shutterbug:
I always think very wild in "one of those days".
Glennis:
Love butterfies, but not be able to let you know how lovely this one is.
yeokeehui:
Yes. Mother Nature is very very stronger than us.
Mei Teng:
Can you tell me any example on unhealthy creativity?
Kirigalpoththa:
It is my pleasure as usual.
Interesting, Rainy! I can't wait to see the butterfly emerge from that chrysalis!
lovely post and who knows what tomorrow will bring? :)
Ha..ha .. Rainfield, I am only trying to learn more from you as a pysic. Supposing we are of the same specie in this universe!
I so like to read your thoughts. I take away much to muse over each time. I believe the vine will be able to hold up the chrysalis, and beauty will burst forth soon.
i so like your thoughts, hope it burst out soon with a butterfly.
It's a precious balance of weight and strength. One will win and one will lose. We are just quiet observers.
nice blog and post!!
sometimes too heavy...too deep
