Tailorbirds and Dinah

"I wish you were down here with me ! But there are no mice in the air." Alice began to talk again while falling down, to her cat Dinah, this time.

There were no birds in the air too, yet it was still good that Dinah was not around, because I had found two tailorbirds falling asleep on a branch of my Annona muricata tree.

Alice should have difficulty to decide where the heads were. So was I. Or she might think that Dinah had eaten them since Alice believed that "she ’ll eat a little bird as soon as look at it !”

The birds smelled me like smelling Dinah when I went nearer and nearer.

One of them looked up at me blankly at first, and off they went one after another hastily, making knocking sound on the windows and on the wall.

On no, I must have mentioned Dinah too often.

Those smart birds. They were wary of Dinah. Maybe they thought you had her with you.

Hello Rainfield, what a sweet napping bird. Cute photo. They may be frightened of Dinah. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

I was puzzling over where their heads were too, they are incredibly fluffy birds. Hopefully Dinah is far away, Rainfield, or you are their protector until they can fly away.

Mention a cat too often and the birds will soon depart. Maybe they'll think you are a big cat too.

Boa tarde, é uma bela foto, talvez de um momento único de oportunidade.
Resto de boa semana,

I'm pretty sure Dinah would scare even larger birds than these (even the mention of her would send them all flying I'm sure).... it does look like it was hard to see which end was which on these little feather balls -- cute birds .. one I'm not familiar with (among many)

Another mystery? Dinah and the tailor bird are friends, can't you see in that shadow? :)
