It was a quiet morning in which I spent quiet times taking pictures of quiet mushrooms deep inside a dense quiet forest.
A sense of inner delight and a kind of connection between friends we felt comfortable with.
No talking existed, but yet so much talking occurred.
"I feel your presence." And that's enough.
"Happy morning, my mushroom."
(Whenever I mention "You are my mushroom", this is an honour.)

Bracket mushroom image, I love them, but not to eat.
With what fungus friendship it will last long. Regards.
Nice friendship! :)
Hello, Rainfield! I think good friends can enjoy their time together without a lot of talking. Having their presence is a comfort. Lovely image. Have a happy weekend!
It's like I was there with you...quiet, peaceful, silent mist....a perfect setting for mushroom hunting. Terrific photo.

I feel about flowing water the way you feel about mushrooms. Silent communion is a comfort.
i love it. pure kinship with nature.
oh what a beautiful shot, in the silence, we hear what our heart and nature beat
Hi! Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
Being in a quiet forest taking pictures is one of the greatest things.
hi rainfield..
what a beautiful catch. The depth of field is amazing. Wish I can take just as good. I agree, among friends, sometimes talking is not needed..just to be there is enough.
Have a lovely week ahead..
mushroom lover here... =)
Nice morning walk and good to see friends along the way! ;)
The concentric markings in the bracket fungi are so interesting, Rainfield. There are so many of them they must be listening closely to everything you say....
We sometimes see those beautiful mushrooms growing on trees around here and I never knew exactly what they were .. I would like to see them often enough to be best friends, but we are only acquaintances.
