Nomads in The Forest

Mushrooms were not busy in preparing presentation in Powerpoint, they do not even know the presence of blogs and those need regular update, just like we need to feed pet fish.

But they are nomads of forest when I found one unique species that made leaves their homes. Riding rotten leaf boats, these tiny yellow cookiehead mushrooms with slim stems always rock in rough sea, and travel from one place to another; this is why I have seen them only once at Cerok Tokun.

Don't be surprised if dots of these mushrooms are found sailing against the moon, but then I need a super zoom in order to shout to them.

You have a super zoom and do not have to shout to them as they will on the moon. :)

Amazing how their fine stems hold on to the leaf. A very special sighting!

Those cookies on a stem are just adorable! REally they do look just like fancy molded cookies. I'm so glad you saw (and shared) them.

(And I wish we could go walking in your beautiful country! I like our sub-tropical climate very much and I bet I'd feel right at home in yours!)

With the yellow color and fluted shape, they do look like tiny pastries. They are probably awarding you a Fungus Amongus award for imortalizing them on the internet.

What amazing little beauties these are. Do you know the name of them? I would imagine they are rare even in books about mushrooms.
