Snails and Mushrooms

When can the slow snails reach home after having their breakfast outside? Will the snails meet one another again if they go out in all different directions?

Some mushrooms grow close together to enjoy an unseparated family life, to have trivial chats from sunrise to moonset, to count snails from one to six, and to laugh at each other that the number six with an extra protruded eye should not belong to one of the snail species.

Some other live alone, but life has to go on, so its cap talks to the gills, and the messages are then passed to the stem. The cap and gills laugh when the stem is jerked by the jokes.

Being a busy body, one of the real snails then forgets to go home.

Snails come back to the place from which emerged. Fungi probably better not grow alone. Regards.

The Snail and the mushroom, a grand title.

It's been a long time since I've seen a snail, what a lovely spiral shell it has! The frilly yellow mushrooms do seem like they want to stay in a group but the single one looks perfectly shiny and happy. :)

I never thought of that before about snails. Now I'll always wonder if snails ever meet each other twice.

Poor lost snail -- but at least he is lost in a pretty place -- those mushrooms are just beautiful. So is the first snail -- I love sharing your explorations of the small wonders of life!

The slugs here like to munch my seedlings in the dark, they slink away by breakfast time unless they are foolish little slugs, then the bad giant comes and smushes them all flat. The frilly apricot mushrooms are so cute.

It has been raining heavily over here. Mushrooms are popping up every where. But I love the fresh scent.

Happy New Year to you!
