Mirrors on the Wall

I came home empty-handed.

I had actually found an orange mushroom and thought of taking pictures in the return trip, but it was crushed to pieces before I could make it.

There were two handsome spiders around. My macro lens failed as one was not approachable at the edge of a slope. My hand was not steady to handle another one that stayed higher than my shoulder height.

This sounds like I am too stupid as though there were only mushrooms and spiders in the jungle. That should have not happened.

So these are pictures from archive that make up my day.

They are the mirrors that reflect who I am.

Who am I?

Trudno, nie ma grzybów i pająków, ale są rośliny, góry i piękne niebo. To też przecież kochasz. Pozdrawiam.
It is difficult, there is no mold and spiders, but they are plants, mountains and beautiful sky. You love it too. Yours.

Happy Hiking this weekend :).

Beautiful shots. It's so disappointing when we come back from a hike empty-handed but at least we have archives, right? That's why we take extras. :)

you are a gifted soul who notices things others wouldn't. a walk in the woods is never a waste. maybe no photos, but soul-filling nonetheless. :)

Remember all those years when we were happy to just get out in nature and see her beauty? Now it we're disappointed if we don't bring back good pictures. But we need to remember to just enjoy nature for its own sake, don't you think?

That being said though I'm glad you were able to find these lovely pictures in your archives -- thank you for sharing!!!!

You have not failed, the spider just wanted privacy and the mushroom had a different destiny.

I often have to remind myself about how (before digital cameras and before I had a blog) I used to enjoy a lovely walk in nature, with never a thought but being happy to be out there! Now it is hard not to be disappointed if we don't "bring something back" as you say. Your archive pictures are beautiful and I think you are a beautiful person! Thanks for sharing the pictures and your thoughts.
