I Thought I Was A King

A mushroom popped up, and came a question out of a sudden, "Who am I if she is an angel of flower?"

This gave me a great honor to confer "Joker of the day" on this little mushroom. My joyful day continued.

And I was so happy to honor a young plant with "Green Knight" at the same time, as it  brought a dead wood back to life.

I thought it was so fun to get going with this,

but not when a bunch of mushrooms appeared in front me. The conferment was now a burden without the assistance of a private secretary.

I thought I was a king, but was not in reality.

Schön sind die kleinen Pilze. Habe heute auch nach ihnen geschaut, doch bei uns sind kaum welche da...

What a magical post! I had to read it twice and I giggled so much. It reminds me of the saying "King for a day, fool for a lifetime". Despite your royal troubles, I think I like the last photo the most.

If you were the king of the world, you'd bring joy to the world says 3 dog night. Pretty mushrooms hanging happy & peacefully.

Indeed, you are a king...of course, the responsibilities can be overwhelming, I'm sure...then, just remove your crown and take a break!!!

This is a wonderful post. I love mushrooms too, but we've been too dry to have many this summer. Now that Autumn is here, maybe there will be more!
