How Big is My Playground?

I was bothered why big birds sit in trees, and am relieved to find myself a good answer today: They spend time calculating a dive for a prey without mistake. Indeed, they are a good mathematician.

So, an egret on top of a tree should be able to solve my another problem.  From that lofty vantage point, it definitely can tell how big is my playground.

But a Common Flameback who is drumming on a tree stump certainly cannot.  Nobody can think while busy playing heavy rock.

The Lineated Barbets who camouflage themselves are never reliable too, especially when their noses are being turned up.

So, how big is my playground?

It is as far as I can journey.

I'm glad you have such a large playground. That means you can get many wonderful pictures like this first one to share with us.

Nice pictures! Love that Egret way up at the top and that bird that looks like our Pileated Woodpeckers.
I guess my playground is not much, since I only see from inside. I love your header picture!

The background in the first picture is actually Cerok Tokun.

Yes, cheapie barber from Fiji, $10. That was the last time my son had his hair cut. Now he is like a JA BO. he wants to be a surfie junkie.

Rainfield, I like your answer, your playground is as far as you can travel. The Common Flameback does not look common. Wonderful birds and gorgeous photos.

Nie sądziłam, że czapla tak wysoko siada żeby wypatrzeć miejsce do połowów. Pozdrawiam. *** I did not think heron sits so high that spotted a place to fish. Yours.

came back to visit, my room is called Kotuku, Maori for egret. I think I like to be perched on top of the dead tree than inside my class room.
