Hiked with My Poodle

This is my Keke before its hair was fully trimmed. It is a cute little one year old Poodle, isn't it? But do you ever think it can hike?

Please don't laugh, it certainly looks very funny without most of the hair, but more importantly, hair trimming is nothing to do with hiking, otherwise, I have to go bald.

Keke is a good hiker, I discovered this for the first time during my last trip to Cerok Tokun. It ran and jumped without much effort, and learned too through slipping down from the first slope.

It must be very excited and curious as to sniff all the way along the trail. Did Keke sniff those noisy monkeys atop the trees? I do not know, anyhow nobody bothered to chase after anybody.

By the way, Keke had "marked" its territory at many places. Cerok Tokun is belong to my Keke now.

It's nice to know you have a hiking buddy to keep you company on your hikes. Keke looks like a good hiker and I'm glad Keke will share Cerok Tokun with you.

It must be fun to hike with your dog off-leash. I think my dog would wander off & get lost when he sees something interesting. It's okay to give your dog a furcut. My dog's fur just sheds all over the place.

Great to have Keke on your trips! I actually like him better with "long" hair (smile)

Dogs are the very best hiking companions. They always want to go; and they want to see everything. I like your dog's haircut. My uncle used to have dogs like yours, and I used to always laugh when they had a haircut. They looked so different after that.

I don't think I have ever seen a brown coloured poodle before. Nice to see Keke out there hiking with
the family.

Keke will make a good hiking buddy and companion, one who could share your joys and secrets too. His keen senses of smell, hearing, etc. will surely be very helpful. He looks quite skinny with hair fully trimmed off.

George: It is nice to have you a blogging friend to company me in the blogosphere.

Kirigalpoththa: I do think so as well.

Misalyn: Why do I mind? And thanks for the add. Have a wonderful day.

Diane: Hopefully Keke did enjoy the trip at which it seemed to.

Icy BC: Poodle is an intellegent dog. Can you believe that my Keke can play piano?

Cheryl: How wonderful it is to have you dog snowshoeing with you.

Life Ramblings: Yes, it seems to be...

Willie: Now you know one of my secret. Hehehe...

roentarre:My Poodle needs a shave since there are too many dead knobs found on its fur. Beauty comes after ugliness. LOL.

AVCr8teur: The only problem to hike with Keke off-leash was it wanted to sniff other hikers as well. Not so fun to see the suspicious look. LOL.

jeannette stgermain: It certainly looks more handsome with "long hair". {smile}

Ratty: They look so thin, as thin as me, after the haircut.

Cate: Then, you must have seen a black or white Poodle. They are cute too.

Autumn Belle: Its pair of eyes is always blocked by the long hair. I wonder can Keke see its way in the jungle without hair trimming. LOL.

How come Keke's hind legs have bits of fur...like from a leftover shave?

Brown poodle is unusual.

What a great hiking companion. Good plan for the haircut as long hair just doesn't work for hiking. Very nice post and will look forward to more! Hugs from Texas
