"On no. I saw a white rabbit jump, so I jumped." The mushroom looked so innocent.
"This is a rabbit hole, not a mushroom hole." The Cat insisted.
"Yes, I must be too mad for wonderland." The mushroom talked to itself.
"A little mushroom fell down the hole, bumped its head, and bruised its soul."
It suffered from Alice deficiency.

The mushroom does look a little bruised and battered, but the cat needs to leave it alone to make its own mistakes. It will survive and perhaps Alice will arrive shortly to save the day!
Alice in Wonderland scared me as a kid, but I like this little exchange. :)
I think we all need a little more Alice in our lives.
