As I moved on, a carpet of flowers had been laid in front of me. That was a welcome sign! My level of adrenaline rose immediately.
Not far away I found a parades of marching ants. I must be one of the celebrities. Was I? Affirmative!
Then I heard a whisper that was intended to be loud enough, at least, for me.
"Sorry man, we are busy moving to a safer place ahead of a thunderstorm. You could be as wet as a fish if you are late."

"And never be imaginative. You aren't a fish. That won't help."

Very creative story and photography ~ (A Creative Harbor)
Great shot of the marching ants!
I understand -- we aren't fish either, that's why we got tired of spending Winters in rainy Oregon.
I can tell when it's going to rain by the way the birds behave but I never thought of ants as predicting storms. But I like watching them. (Have you ever seen leaf-cutter ants? (They carry pieces of greenery that look 50 times bigger than they are).
The ants are so smart!! Bet you got wet! Great photos, as usual Rain!!
Good photos are not bad
Better photos are Okay
Best photos are worthy
GREAT photos are works of art.
Greatness nearly always incurs
risk
I bow to the artist, Mr Raintree.
PEACE!
That top photo is so lovely! Hope you didn't get wet!
Google not cooperating the whole of yesterday. Nice lovely smooth carpet of flowers you got there. You ain't a fish but a wet, very wet chicken. Chinese say 'drop soup chicken' should there be a thunderstorm.
The first photo was so interesting and intriguing..So if you were not a fish, do you think I am? :-)
They really do look like a school of red fish!
It's very interesting story. I want to know what will be happen to you.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
no like fire ants. came via another's blog which led me to your facebook
nice little parade, perhaps in your honor??
or maybe they were looking for some chocolate ice cream. were you carrying?? ;)))
Did you flee the rain, Mr. Rainfield or is that, perhaps, how you got your name??
Beautiful pictures, I love those pretty colors. I love the rug.
