As I moved on, a carpet of flowers had been laid in front of me. That was a welcome sign! My level of adrenaline rose immediately.
Not far away I found a parades of marching ants. I must be one of the celebrities. Was I? Affirmative!
Then I heard a whisper that was intended to be loud enough, at least, for me.
"Sorry man, we are busy moving to a safer place ahead of a thunderstorm. You could be as wet as a fish if you are late."

"And never be imaginative. You aren't a fish. That won't help."

Very creative story and photography ~ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the marching ants!
ReplyDeleteI understand -- we aren't fish either, that's why we got tired of spending Winters in rainy Oregon.
ReplyDeleteI can tell when it's going to rain by the way the birds behave but I never thought of ants as predicting storms. But I like watching them. (Have you ever seen leaf-cutter ants? (They carry pieces of greenery that look 50 times bigger than they are).
The ants are so smart!! Bet you got wet! Great photos, as usual Rain!!
