I was not a fish

As I moved on, a carpet of flowers had been laid in front of me. That was a welcome sign! My level of adrenaline rose immediately.

Not far away I found a parades of marching ants. I must be one of the celebrities. Was I? Affirmative!

Then I heard a whisper that was intended to be loud enough, at least, for me.

"Sorry man, we are busy moving to a safer place ahead of a thunderstorm. You could be as wet as a fish if you are late."

"And never be imaginative. You aren't a fish. That won't help."

  19. I understand -- we aren't fish either, that's why we got tired of spending Winters in rainy Oregon.

I can tell when it's going to rain by the way the birds behave but I never thought of ants as predicting storms. But I like watching them. (Have you ever seen leaf-cutter ants? (They carry pieces of greenery that look 50 times bigger than they are).

  23. Google not cooperating the whole of yesterday. Nice lovely smooth carpet of flowers you got there. You ain't a fish but a wet, very wet chicken. Chinese say 'drop soup chicken' should there be a thunderstorm.
