The woods are lovely, dark, and deep.
I rather prefer to walk around, but see only the surface, and that has already occupied all of my time. I wonder what the thought of the Statue of Liberty is, after watching at a fixed angle, and at different depth of fields, for 124 years. It must be very deep if she can tell.
I always agree that woods are lovely, dark, and deep, and I have promises to keep. I shall explore deep inside when I have finished the surface.

What a frog is to you? It brings joy and excitement to my friend, Ratty, though it is only a frog, that's like an unknown bug, or a little weed flower to me.

Lovely photos, Rainfield. Does the dark and deep woods hold secrets for you? It is fun to explore looking for something new and unknown.
Rainfield, your shots are as poetic as your wisdom. Your journeys hold many secrets of which only you know.
she may have seen a lot at varying conditions. love your shots, and always, the deep thoughts and wisdom that go with them.
I like the results of all your observations. I've enjoyed your explorations on the surface of the woods and I look forward to your thoughts on the deep inside.
Those frogs and unknown bugs always seem to bring a sense of wonder to us. Your unknown bug in your first picture does that very much.
cute bugs!
the 2nd image is really beautiful.
very unique pics
It is always worth our time to rake a second or even a third look. You never know what you will find.
If anyone can unlock the mysteries of Ceruk Token, it is you. I'm sure the creatures there feel you are their friend. Your photographs continue to be such a wonderful insight into this faraway world for me.
Not a fan of bugs but some shown here have been very interesting Rainfield. The 2nd photo was it a wild orchid? Im wary of dark and deep woods, they have to be explored with a bunch of knowledgable persons, not alone...a bit scary for me!
The world is filled with joys and wonders for those who seek with open eyes and minds.
Deep thoughts dark woods Ratty ribbit

Poetic Shutterbug stole what I wanted to say! Hmmm...her mind and mine are connected through cyberspace..Go blame her :-)
Beautiful photos as always!
The second picture is very special.

Hey there!
Yes I agree, the woods are very dark and brooding. It's got secrets that we might never know. I love the mystery.
Nice macros Rainfield.
Your shooting skills only gets better.
I've been long gone, and thank God I am back.
Lovely pictures and awesome photography.
Lovely photos. I like 2nd one most. it is very Sharpe.
I can see your new favicon. It's a very good one.
your camera is such a big one that you find it heavy to carry.
Talking about dangerous adventure, you always tell your wife where you go in the jungle and wear bright coloured clothes?
I bought a yellow ski pants, my daughter asked me why? I told her in a survival show, they advise to wear colour clothes so they can spot you from the helicopter/
The deep woods are endless and so are your adventures with different creatures you meet along the way.
i too like the 2nd snap.. its too good:)
