This tailor bird nest had to be supported by a paper bag when my wife had mistakenly trimmed off a grapevine at which this nest was built.
The parent birds seemed to have accepted the damage caused and remedy provided; three eggs turned into an equal number of healthy babies finally.
So happy I brought a chair to take some pictures in order to recognise our great effort. The chicks always thought it was their parent wanting to feed them, though that was not my intention, while the real ones were piercing me with their highest pitch, the G10.
Both parties were then busy at making a living in the weekdays.
When weekend returned, the babies were gone.
I should have dressed them up in the first place. A red Super S and a yellow lightning bolt, which one should the bird prefer?
These are my birds I shall shout when these symbols appear.

These birdies melt my heart!
Hello Rainfield, those chicks are adorable. I am sure their parents were very protective of their young. Awesome photos!
Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your day and weekend!
Wow! They are very cute. Thanks for sharing.
hi rainfield, ohhh my goodness those chicks are soo adorable. Too bad they had to leave the nest so fast. Thank goodness you managed to capture those magical moments. The paper bag to support the nest is a brilliant idea. Hope those birds will come avisiting one day.

Happy Day and Weekend to you ~ ^_^
awww. glad they continued to raise good, healthy chicks.
The parent birds were devoted to raise the little ones even after their home was interrupted. I would like to see the superhero chicks.
Marvellous shot of the young chicks and the parents are working so hard to feed them.
Beautiful photos! I liked them very much.
Pretty good. You had your own birds for a little while. Maybe they'll come back and visit one day.
awwww sweet baby birds!!!!
What fun to watch the baby birds grow up and leave the nest. I bet they come back to visit next nesting season. Maybe the little ones all grown up. They will remember your kindness and you will recognize them even without a costume).
Such a cute nest your wife did! The birds are survivors! ;)
That's awesome that the parents didn't abandon the nest and you got to photograph the babies, Rainfield. I love watching the parents shoving food down their open mouths, so cute.
