It was a raining night. It is a misty morning.
A spider has just waked up. It slides down from the top end, makes some arm stretching exercises, and stops by the dining table for a morning feast. How about a cup of hot coffee?
I am interested to know when the spider will finished up the whole prey; it has no fridge.
But I have to move on; there is more to explore. I shall not finish talking to them when I am very old.

Love you spider story. You take such good pictures of these little creatures! Been raining here for two days. Even a few snowflakes in the air today.
You speak the language of so many creatures, dear rainfield. Mostly, I just take off when I see spiders and don't bother to stop and chat!
You always amazed me with your photos! Such little and pretty spider through your lens..
The flying ant is bigger than the spider. What if it starts rotting in the dining room and the smells goes right up to the bedroom?
I need a cup of coffee now.
Do spiders drink coffee? I hope you always find time to explore, your macro shots are wonderful. Nice story.
Most of the criters who enjoy spending time with me, remarked that they too like their meals a trifle aged. They all waved their paws..no need for the fridge! Just me who insists! (grin) Now I'm off to slap a fearless fly who's web he missed with beady eye~
These are wonderful macros. I hope you live to a very old age -- I want to see many more wonderful pictures like this.
That is a gigantic breakfast!
Nice Story. He is a pretty spider.
What a big breakfast!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner in one prey!
I agree with all these comments...Well done! Beautiful post!
Simple yet interesting story...
Excellent story with the spider! Creative indeed!
hahaha... now i wonder if it will affect the spider's health for eating a stale left-over. you are funny in a witty way.
I guess none of us can wait forever for an answer from the spider. Even though it is very beautiful, I don't think I would want it to talk to me anyway.
You are the pied piper to spiders. I really like the pictures of spiders and webs that you post.
Interesting markings on the spider body. I wonder if it is poisonous. Do not stay too long or it can have you for dinner.
lovely, though am not always present here because of my sched :( but always glad to explore with you, and always excited to see what you have. I love what you said, "But I have to move on; there is more to explore. I shall not finish talking to them when I am very old."- I am with you.
The prey is bigger than the spider! :)
Maybe the spider shared its huge meal. Very nice photos, Rainfield!
Great macro shots! Hope the spider will share the meal so that it won't get spoiled ;))
