These Weaver ants came out from my book of nature. I chased them back while they were stretching their necks peeping the surrounding, and before they started to weave their nest in my house, on my bed and on my body, and before they crawled from my toe to my forehead, and before they called my home their home.
I flip to chapter 11092010, they seem to live a normal life over there.
Some of us make our way up to the top of Cerok Tokun, while the others are descending.
At the same time, we would limit ourselves to a narrow path though it can be in fact wider. We always follow our experience or the pheromones trail.
When I am climbing up the guardrail to gaze over a sea of clouds, one of the ant never miss the chance to enjoy the same.

i love the 'talking' picture. your stories are always very catchy. thanks for sharing, rainfiled :)
When they bite us the sting we felt are from acid. That acids are use in cosmetics.
Beautiful photos as always, Rainfield.
I would not like these ants to make my home a home for themselves either..
i'm not fond of ants. i can't imagine having them crawling on me in my bed! yikes
I love taking pictures of weaver ants too... there's one where I managed to take a picture of its face! you can see it here:

;)
wonderful thoughts again Rainfield, love always the flow of your thoughts, a great philosopher, photographer and hiker in one :)
They are very pretty, but I think I would not want them crawling over me from head to toe, either.
Good thing those ants never make your nostrils as their home. Have a great weekend! :)
yeah it's good to be alone once a while :)
I was once bitten by an ant in the outdoors. Pain was really sharp. Thankfully, the pain went off after awhile.
Beautiful pics.
it is true they always follow the path of those ahead of the.. once there was an incident n i noticed confusion in the trail
Rainfield, beutiful photos. I hope the ants do not make your home their home.
I find that taking pictures of ants is very interesting, those are action-packed.
As long as I can zoom in from far, I am safe from their mandibles.
Rainfield, you are really the friend of the nature.
The pictures tell a very good story.
These fire ants, they sting so bad.
My husband used to hate my neighbour's cat. In winter, it likes to walk all over the bonnet and leaves paw prints. before it sleeps. My husband say he wants to throw the shoe at it. Then he has to walk in the cold wet ground to retrieve the shoe.
Yet another cool post!
What a beautiful post :-)
I think these ants are never alone...
Ants' life is interesting, and so is the lighting used in the photos..
Rainfield, while I would not like these ants to make their home around me, these photos are excellent. I have never seen an ant that up close and personal.
They are industrious..and I'm sure most would consider them uninvited- but I suppose I've known a few uninvited guests that perhaps needed a tap on the shoulder (lol)- I kind of like this busy hidden realm- nice captures:)
I totally enjoy seeing these ants through your lens but, definitely, not in my abode or on my body. Tell them please, in case they have relatives in my neighborhood.
