I closed my eyes as usual this morning; I was then thrilled by a surprised newcomer: an orange species. Does this orange color mean a different gender? I failed to find out more though it might have told me through the buzzing sound.
I know what you are thinking right now. I may be stung while closing my eyes, isn't it? This is the thought of a normal person. If somehow it does happen, I shall show you how high the bump is.
The blue bee took turn to appear on stage, with the familiar humming sound as the background music. I had thus seen a couple today, at this small corner, where I did not require to move around very much. But if you think these pictures came easily, then you are definitely very wrong. They were just quick at “touch-and-go”, here and there, without paying any toll, now and then.
They have highways everywhere, and we too have ours. Yes, we have ours. If you think again you can close your eyes like me, sorry to say, you may be stung by the toll rise before opening up your eyes. Will you never go asleep anymore by then?
Happy journey.

Will the little bee bother you unless you bother it? Ours rarely sting unless provoked. Me, I like that little flower the best! Looks like a type of speedwell.
You sure find colorful bees at Cerok Tokun! I'm impressed that you are able to capture them in flight and I like the flower too.
you never fail to amaze us with the beauty of Cerok Tokun. You always takes us to that special place thru your camera lenses.
those are beautiful bees and the flowers are so sharp and vivid, its coming out of the picture.
thank rainfield for sharing us the beauty in side of the world.

One thing about those tiny wild flowers. They are very attractive when enlarged!
I love their freedom to travel in a 3 dimensional highway, being totally free to shift lanes, left and right, upper and lower and to stop for a snack and breather at any R&R of their own choice. Toll free as well!! ~bangchik
wow, interesting!
bees. most of us overlook them, but you didn't. very humbling. thanks rainfield!
Up until now, I never knew there was such a thing as a blue-colored bee and I have never seen one. I read they are suppose to be pollinators of fruit trees. A bee's work is never done; they also make good models for photographs. :)
Bees are really hardworking and yet we take away their honey.
colourful bees make great subject for photography.
Blue bees are new to me, but I enjoyed your pictures very much. But I do think I'll keep my eyes open around all bees!
Bees are such colorful creatures, and you have some of the best. Adventurers like you, me, and Indiana Jones never think about the sting until it's too late.
it's hard to capture the bees while flying, you did a good job rain and it's beautiful never seen blue bees before, and the leaves are lovely too... thank you rain for sharing us the beauty of Cerok Tokun
The bees of Cerok Tokun are very colorful. I have seen blue bees but yours are a little different.
It is the gentle female that gathers the pollen.
Blue bee? Now that's unique! Your photos are amazing, and beautiful..
Sharkbytes:
I have not been bothered by those bee yet. They came in the quantity of only one or two. No danger was sensed.
Diane:
My interest is to capture something in flight recently. I have some on a swallow, and some on dragonflies. They are coming.
eng:
It is coming out of the pictures, and you can plant it in your pot. So nice.
Kirigalpoththa:
The are attractive in the wild too.
Bangchik:
They enjoy toll free, but our petrol and electricity price will rise "again".
wenn:
Am happy you like them.
Loshini:
We are as busy as the bee, thus we overlook the bee.
AVCr8teur:
You have done some good works. I have kept this post for a few weeks while searching for information. Just failed to get.
Willie:
This is what we call "added value"!?
Life Ramblings:
Yes, everything that is colourful looks nice in photographs.
George:
I do not need to close my eyes if there are many of them. It is difficult to "see" one or two out there.

"Adventurers like you, me, and Indiana Jones never think about the sting until it's too late".
I have bookmarked this.
maricar:
Patience helps to capture the flying bees, if you have.
SquirrelQueen:
Everyone is unique, all the same to these bees.
Icy BC:
Your comment make me can't sleep for the whole night!!!!
Blue and Brown Bees - love them all.
You are very good at macro now.
The orange bee is really unique. They hardly harm us unless provoked.
The bees are busily buzzing but you could capture it well. The 2 bees are beautiful.
Yes, even though I know a bee will not sting you unless you bother it, I still would have been afraid to close my eyes. Your photos so up close are amazing Rainfield.
Wonderful photos, I think the weed is beautiful with such a deep color. And as Sharkbytes said, usually bees don't sting unless provoked. I always figures as long as I don't bother them, they won't bother me. We can both share the landscape.
Wonder what kind of honey they make. It must taste good.
Bees are beautiful but dangerous insects.
They are pretty colors, the blue bee and the orange bee and the pretty flower. Your photos are beautiful.
u r one brave guy. after being stung a few times the past few yrs i prefer to b cautious :)
i didn't know bees there have so much colors =)
the second and third photo is very well done, nice timingg too,
The colors in your bee pics are just amazing! Did you ever think of saving up for a macro lens, since you like to photograph small creatures?
The colours and bokeh on these shots are great
