Besides speaking a thousand words

A picture speaks a thousand words, but can it tell time?

I usually start my hiking in the morning at about seven o’clock when the trail looks dim. This is when I normally stress myself to the maximum and seldom stop for any photograph.

We are now looking at the picture of a butterfly. Can we tell time from this picture? We can see the sunlight is glaring and the shadow is obvious. It definitely hints us on something about the time, and how crazy a man likes me to spend his time so long at Cerok Tokun, to chase after and bend his body for those critters, under the hot sun.

So does a picture tell time? The answer is definitely yes.

In addition, besides telling the intended story, a post may reveal a hidden story too.

I am running short of time recently. In fact, the length of this post is directly proportional to my time available to blog around.

Well, you're probably doing better to be in the great outdoors than to be like me, spending hours at the computer and getting no exercise at all!

time is precious and we need to make the most out of our everyday lives.

Time seems to be in short supply everywhere these days. But I am glad you've had time to take your hikes and capture wonderful pictures like these.

You are a great listener to be able to understand what creatures and photographs have to say.

Great photos as always. I am very glad that you take the time to capture such wonders for us to behold!

Time is as precious a thing as your butterfly. We never seem to have as much as we want. I want more time, and more butterflies. I don't ever seem to have enough of either.

Rainfield, must agree with Icy BC the days do seem to be getting shorter. When we were kids the days seemed longer. Didn't they? I like the pics.

Was this shot in the mid morning? Can see the sunlight throwing shadows onto the butterfly in the second photo.

time indeed is very short most especially when you have so much to do. I haven't really had much blogging time or even anything else since I have my little one to attend to.

I think it's wonderful that you have captured time in your photos and that you are spending your time doing what you love.

Big bold eyes on this butterfly.

Like a sundial the shadows in a photo can tell the time, I too would guess mid morning. I love looking at the butterfly and imagine his eyes looking at me.

oh no, i do not think you are crazy chasing after the critters, you just know how to live a relaxed and healthy life :)

and it brought happy butterflies in your end, a lot of times, others don't have the time to enjoy life like you do

I love all those eyespots. It's very attractive for a brown moth.
