Reflection

Very few people would have come to this place. Cerok Tokun, to many people, is a place for hiking, and this dam has then laid silently at an isolated corner. Silence does not mean alone, it is in company with many trees, be it big, small, tall or short.

I see myself in the mirror whereas these trees find themselves inside the water. I am definitely not the same person at this time back in 2008. I am loaded with many pots of gold, at least, in the eve of my first blogoversary. Cerok Tokun is my gold mine.

These trees see their reflections every time the sun rises. I look at the mirror everyday before leaving home in the morning. I have yet to find Tiger Woods in my mirror so far, otherwise, what shall I do?

I do not believe these trees do think so much nonsense as me,

though they may spend time to reflect on what has happened and what has been done.

oh! rain...so glad to know and see your gold mine, Ceruk Tokun. It is indeed a place of reflection, literally and figuratively speaking!

Those trees must have had a wonderful time admiring their beauty and strength in each rising of the sun..their majestic stature is always complimented by the placidity of the lake!

perfection!

Salitype: We are the trees. We see ourselves everyday in the mirror. We may need to ask who am I occasionally.

eileeninmd: Reflections is one of topics I would like to try in photography. Very interesting indeed.

Icy BC: It is a very peaceful and quiet place.

Diane AZ/Kirigalpoththa/Gimmymo/Tes: Thank you very much.

VanillaSeven: It there is, they must be another type of reptile. lol.

betchai: But getting lost in the jungle is not a pleasant expereince. Exactly like you have expereinced before.

I love water reflections, too. I just noticed that in your profile you state: "photography is akin to breathing" to you. I loved that...so poetic. And I feel the same way about my photography. Well said!

It's as if I myself has been doing my walks at Cerok Tokun, and it is indeed a place for contemplation and reflections and everything we might call it. It is such a lovely place. Thanks for sharing it to us. Have a nice week rain and a pleasant journey always.

I really like your pictures of the trees reflected in the water. I agree you are a wealthy man, since you can visit such beautiful scenes on your hikes.

Tabib: You will certainly like this place if you have the chance to drop by.

The Retired One: Of course, you have such a nice blog that is full of beautiful photos, and the scenery that I won't be able to see over here.

Willie: Do you see yourself as Tiger Woods in the mirror? You can quit your job immediately and just play with your camera, or you can do more than that?

AVCr8teur: Hopefully they won't keep looking at others and forget about ownself.

Cher: I do not know I am a humorous person, thanks for reminding me that.

Pacey: It must be very fun if someone starts asking about Cerok Tokun after touching down at Malaysia Airport.

George: I do feel like a multi-millionaire now, who is Tiger Woods then? Ha Ha!!

Good illustration of reflection in the first photo.

It's good to reflect and see ourselves.

You always take wonderful pictures and write some of the best posts I read. You may not see Tiger Woods in the mirror, but there is now some Indiana Jones in there. Even if you don't see him, I do whenever I read your blog. Happy blogoversary!
