I spotted my grasshopper while I was moving around the wheel. It looked so tidy and gave me the opportunity to concur with what I have read.

The quote applies only to grasshopper or alike, but not the following one. I do not know whether it is a baby snake or a black worm, but I waste no time to study or analyse. It is not my favourite.
To discover something in the nature does not require me to keep travelling. This is what I have learned and experienced. Though I do not need to stay for hours, somehow the same old place does produce a variety of events. As I moved around this same place, I found the grasshopper just came along to MyJourney. Same to this tiny long critter, it just crawled along and disappeared.Fun, is what I can say. I can enjoy the Nature in various ways. And I would like the end this post with another quote by Eugene Delacroix, "Nature is a dictionary; one draws words from it." (Special thanks to Cate for sharing this).

Nature is always putting on a new show. I have to go back over and over to the same spots to see the new lineup.
There is always something new and interesting to see in nature. Your picture of the snake (or worm) is interesting, but the picture of the grasshopper is magnificent.
yeah even the same venue we go again and again, i bet time, weather, mood, etc will not be the same... so when you wanna go hiking with me again?? lol

I had experience with a leech during trekking long time ago. It slipped inside my socks and keep pumping my blood out. Good thing I found that quickly and my friend poured a tobacco water on it and it came off!

Now that's another type of grasshopper. I have seen several huge ones in Asia! The shot is luminously clear. Good job, Rainy! The worm on the other hand has an artistic contrast against that leaf! Nice!

I believe the "snake" is actually a blind worm here they are called incorrectly "flowerpot snakes" since they like to take up residence in your flower pots!
Nice to have the grasshopper and worm visit you during your photo outing. I wonder what you will encounter next time.

When I run my trails I'm alert for obstacles like tree roots and boulders, but always jump the highest for the snakes, ha!

I like the grasshopper. It's very colorful. If that is a worm, it's the longest one I've ever seen.
Oh, I actually like the black worm! It's like a string of squeezed out black paint, but it can change its art every minute

ahaha i was freaked out by a grasshopper one night when i went in the bathroom...it was just there perched on the window screen! such a rae sight most esp at night!
