I am kind of very cautious, making each step forward with so much calculation and observation.
I had been chased by a short-tailed macaque before, so fiercely, just to confirm my short but powerful legs.
We both stared at each other. Its easiness was unconvincing, and my anxiety seemed unnecessary, but I rather to be fooled now than to be fooled later.
"Is it that great to photograph a monkey?"
The mushrooms followed this silent comedy.
"They only know monkeying around, but you are now Charlie Chaplin."
You did get a great shot of the MOnkey adn I assummed came away unharmed! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello Rainfield, awesome sighting of the monkey. He is watching you! I am glad you were not chased you might have missed the cute mushrooms. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
glad you could sneak up on him and not cause a confrontation! the mushrooms were silently cheering you on with, 'fight! fight! fight!' :)
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of the Macaque Monkey, I dream of being with him.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sighting of the Macaque. Happy Critter Day!
ReplyDeleteHe's peeking at you! Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI swear, the lighting in your mushroom photos is just absolutely astounding!! I so enjoy your artful expertise on photography. And the monkey? Ewwww, if it's a vicious one, I am now thinking you're a brave soul to stick around and try for a photo!!
ReplyDeleteThe monkey seems to be calculating how fast you can run and how much energy he has to pursue. He does not know you run marathons, so would win in the long run. The mushrooms don't want to chance harm to their biggest fan....
ReplyDeletelovely shot of the maquaque monkey.

Here the 'monkeys' are baboons and we stay at a respectful distance, both wary.
ReplyDeleteBefore lovely mushrooms do not need to run, but before the monkey can anyway. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteit is better to be safe, hence keep a distance and never show them you have food. I once witnessed a lady being bitten by monkeys just because she was carrying some food and this was at a resort. Thats a beautiful shot of the monkey though. Guess you were at a safe distance.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice no to be chased. Your photo is very cool. I like the mushroom photo too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMutual observation and mushrooms saw you ;))
ReplyDeleteGood week.
a hug.
Love that monkey looking through the branches at you!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos and the sentences.
ReplyDeleteHug
When you are a mushroom it is not often that you have outside entertainment -- and you can't just run off to the movies or go out to eat. So you are glad when the entertainment comes to you. I am busy right now getting my house organized and have not had much time to go outside to play. So, just like the mushrooms, I too am happy to be amused by you and the short-tailed macque. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSure looks like a shy fellow!
ReplyDeleteI have many monkey in my surroundings! but never seen mushroom yet! ahhahahaa......
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde, duas belas fotos que me transporta para a realidade da beleza de cada uma delas, ambas são maravilhosas.
