Mushroom and Me

Taking pictures of mushrooms at Cerok Tokun is not an easy task, even though I do this repeatedly.

You see, I have to made quick and decisive shots, before mosquitoes detect my body heat and breath and start an attack, or in another way, spending time squatting by the narrow trail may turn out “suddenly” seeing hikers gathering beside me in the end. They always wait and give me a smile.

Mushrooms are in my blog, I may appear in others' facebook.

It is not a real fun:  I too, besides mushrooms, am the hottest topics of the day.

A Slimy Green Mushroom

Things when get overdone may turn out to be out of control. This happened exactly when I was picking up the fallen leaves hoping for a clean depth of field. A magazine told me so.

I broke the root of a brittle and slimy mushroom. Its neck broke when I continued further, that ended its already very short life cycle. This was not cautioned in the magazine.

Then this is my next discovery, a beauty that was good to be observed in a distance. This second chance is sweet, only that the first mushroom has been made a guinea pig.

Bill Gates The Frog

While croaking-class is still loud over the dam, using no new technology but his little feet that jump three inches high, a baby frog has already had an idea and the will to venture a new possibility. I too use no technology except keeping steps gentle, and wait-and-see for the next move, hoping to introduce myself through some clicking sounds.

He keeps very silent about his exploration; it may be Bill Gates the frog who had quit Harvard.

Bill Gates then founded Microsoft.

The little frog is not going to find his princess.

A kiss is too traditional.

Mushroom Day

I has been compressed into a minute powder in the darkness of woods, where I saw only a lot of quietness and endless stillness. This has been a long period.

Until drops of rain, the mighty magic wand, I bounce back, like a spring.

I am alive. We are alive.

"And I say, hey hey hey hey. I said hey, what's going on?"
