A film would play whether people are watching or not; this
seemed right to a thin long snake far atop a tree. Its story continued when my
macro lens was in action.
The effect, I know, would not be magnetic as the pictures
taken were heavily cropped, though a mosquito was involved later.
But this would be dramatic if the bent proboscis of the
mosquito could be visible, (ah, biting a wrong target) and best used by a
storyteller.
It presence was never felt somehow, otherwise the snake
would be sorry for being born without a pair of hands.
Vaya...Que buena captura!!
ReplyDeleteNo tiene manos, pero seguro que de un buen lenguetazo se lo comió :)))
Buen fin de semana.
Un abrazo.
Cool shots of the snake, Rainfield. The bokeh is gorgeous. I would have to smack that mosquito. Have a happy weekend!

I can't believe you saw that moment, and not only that captured it with your camera. Better the mosquito bite the snake than you! (I'm more afraid of mosquitos than I am of snakes in some ways.)
ReplyDeleteIt was meant to be!!
ReplyDeleteNiesamowite zdjęcie ! Biedny wąż nie ma jak zabić komara . Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo! The poor snake is not how to kill a mosquito. Yours.
Wow, awesome! Amazing moments captured. :)
ReplyDeleteYour first photo is fantastic -- both are marvelous. You have a great eye (and talent) to see and capture this action.
ReplyDeleteNow I have seen everything and I am glad to have hands!
ReplyDeleteBesides being such a marvelous story teller, you are a wonderful photographer. The picture of the mosquito on the snake should become a classic.
ReplyDeleteCreative photography of nature and the snake ~ another of nature's gems ~ Enjoy ^_^
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting and commenting.
Good job spotting the snake.

ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Hello! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture! Mosquito looking for a free meal!
ReplyDeleteAlthough your beautiful photographic art is hard work and time dependent, you DO experience fulfillment, and, I bet, even have FUN! (Smiles!)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!

ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful week ahead.
gorgeous!
ReplyDeletehappy easter!!

Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteA snake knows its role and does not have to rehearse although this mosquito might need some practice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture you caught of this snake...amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI would want to pick up that snake and investigate more closely!
ReplyDeleteHey.. That's an intelligent story to go with the pictures. If I had the opportunity to shoot.. I would have better run for my life..
ReplyDeleteIt's a great subject for macro photo session but don't get too near, things could turn unpredictable
ReplyDeletelol, the snake is sure sorry for not having a pair of hands to "clap" and punish the mosquito.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have missed seeing the mosquito if you hadn't mentioned it. :)
ReplyDeleteI just had to tell you how wonderful that first picture is. The second one is good too, but that first one caught a special moment.
ReplyDeleteHmm- would a mosquito bite a cold-blooded creature? Very strange.
ReplyDeleteShould I say lucky mosquito or poor snake? :D Either way it's a wonderful capture of an unusual encounter!
