Red Mushrooms, and their Cousins

I was not as wet as a fish. Lucky me. I found some pretty red mushrooms the next Sunday I went  hiking; the same Cerok Tokun, at a different time, the dimension in which new wonders  hide.

Their striking color exposed themselves. Lucky them, I am a hiker, not a predator, yet they  survived not a week, but was already the whole life.

Nearby, their neck-stretching cousin got my attention. Yes, being delicate, yet it was dynamic, and proactive. Oops, a little bit of extra stretching would see the mushroom uprooting itself.

And more of the them are living unnoticed in the forest.

These mushroom's cousins aren't me. They like as wet as a fish. They mushroom.

They are linked to Your Sunday Best.

  3. Śliczne są czerwone grzybki bardzo widoczne w lesie. Brązowy nie chce by go widziano, jest skromniejszy. Wszystkie lubią deszcz,bo takie mają wymagania. Ty nie musisz chodzić po lesie, jak on leje :)
Cute red mushrooms are highly visible in the forest. Brown does not want to be seen, is more modest. All like rain, because these are the requirements. You do not have to walk through the woods, as he pours :)

  26. They like to be damp and in the dark! Definitely not me. But they are just beautiful! Especially the red ones. Lovely. (Here in Oregon our mushrooms are not doing as well as they have in other years when we've been here, because it has been so dry.)
