Scooby-Doo

There is a doggy smell.

My sharp eyes see no strayed dog running anthropomorphically, I am clairaudience yet never hear any rapid breathing, but I can smell it. My nostrils are big!

Trek further up, I begin to smell my sweat-soaked body, and the doggy smell grows even stronger. When my nose stops at a tree, and when I sniff upwards, I see it. It is Scooby-Doo.

This cowardly dog has always wanted to hide itself from any suspected zombie or ghost, but not smartly, since 1969. It does it again, although there is no sign about the monster that is terrorizing this forest.

It keeps itself disappeared in the tree except the square head. Dooby, this is intended! It would want to be ever ready for Scooby Snacks, a favorite food for the past 42 years.

This Great Dane is still the same familiar one after all.

Scooby-Doo, here you are. You have outrun the supernatural creature by lifting a 70-pound body up a 15 foot tree.

Tadpoles

Suddenly I see the eyes of water staring at me for the first time. That should not be a big deal, but it somehow adds a little savor to the life of a little old man.

I have not experienced before, but I shall feel very shy if thousands or millions of eyes stare at me. But then, how proud I shall be when they have rounds of applause for me twelve weeks later.

I am controversial!! And I choose to forget: "don't accept your dog's admiration as a conclusive evidence that you are wonderful" occasionally.

Do You Need a Bungalow?

Why a bird nest is not equipped with a set of sound system or a refrigerator?

This is the nest of tailor birds that starred in last April, I have never seen the owners since then. We build bungalows, birds never. Mother birds even sleep outside after eggs have been hatched.

As a temporary asylum, a bird nest is not luxuriously built. The birds enjoy rain drops as Cola, the surround sound systems in the Nature, earth’s the bed and sky’s the quilt.

I think of this again when I saw another new born this morning. I tend to relate this to a spider I found nearby.

A bird flies, and a spider swings; they re-cycle and build. We walk and run, so we need bungalows.

I last thought a spider needed a pair of sunglasses. I can be wrong.

Smile

I listened to the jungle, but it talked very little this morning.

The babblers, the monkeys, the cicadas, and the crickets seemed to be silent most of the time.

And I saw this big smiling face. It did not exist days before yesterday, but will sure to continue smiling in the future.

I realized then that the smile did the talk actually. And what a wonderful silent talk.

As I Am

Not all are annoyed by loneliness, this butterfly does.

It moves higher low, higher high, lower low, lower high and continues in an uneasy pattern.

It is doubtful about me in the surroundings. It shows all its mimicked eyes.

Oh no, I am not the messenger of loneliness.

Not all are annoyed by loneliness.

A treehopper is more philosophical. It cogitates about an answer in the midst of swinging leafy branch.

It moves higher low, higher high, lower low, and lower high following the surrounding pattern.

I am a nobody.

Not all are annoyed by loneliness.

Am I seeing things as I am?

When A Mushroom Is Not A Mushroom

When a mushroom is not a mushroom, and when is not a mushroom is a mushroom.

When a mushroom starts to talk to me, and when one of them shows me a V sign.

I feel like the mushroom is me and I am the mushroom; I listen to the movement of soil, breathing of ants, and breaking down of fallen leaves.

And the mushroom will come back during the weekends begging me to return it its body.

“I would rather be a mushroom!” It will then say, “I belong to Nature.”
