A peasant in Song Dynasty accidentally met a hare running into a big tree one day. From then on, he came waiting for careless hares days after days under the same tree....
"What a good day! Oh ya, are you talking about me?" A spider yawns all its way while crawling from underneath a leaf.
The spider so black. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteSo was that a hareless day? I think they are celebrating Easter.
ReplyDeleteI think all the hares are off celebrating Easter somewhere. Cool shots of the spider and a cute story.

ReplyDeleteWow...very beautiful macro photos! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYa..I was waiting for a rabit but then again, most of them were off on a holiday? This spider is smart to just wait for the one's who wandered off after too much to drink. He looks rather charming Rainfields:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Rainfield! I hope the spider didn't have to wait much longer for its meal.
ReplyDeleteThe hare was quite busy. I'm not sure he is quite ready for activity yet. Excellent photos and cute story.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, rainfield, but that spider totally gives me the chills. You did a great job of photography but I cannot bring myself to look at it again!
ReplyDeletei had no idea such things existe in msia... your post is an eye opener rainfiled..:)
ReplyDeleteThis spider is dancing with the universe. Peaceful and living the simple life.
ReplyDeleteAs always, you impressed me with your macro shots and I like the story that goes along with your great photos.
ReplyDeleteSeeing your great photos was one of the inspiration why I bought a macro lens. My problem is I don't have enough subject to snap. Few flowers in the desert and small critters.
That is a wood spider..quite a large one isn't it?
