Day and night are separated by a foot of time, though thin but they are always well regulated. But darkness is naughty; he often hides himself in a quiet corner, waits to show up whenever possible. This “hide and seek” game that brings surprises most of the times will never end in the jungle.
When light brightens us up, darkness, at the same time, never fails to challenge: the more we face brightness, the longer he casts himself on the other side.
On the contrary, Light simply surrenders herself totally when darkness rules.
you not scared of Hantu? So dark!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband won't let me eat the BI DAN. He says too much chemicals.
I have to go to Australia and eat it with my bro.
rather scary to be in the dark!
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures, and i feel i am enriched always with your philosophical thoughts each time I come here, it's always a treat
ReplyDeleteI really like your pictures of darkness and light. I also like your philosophical thoughts on the interplay of light and shadows.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos showing the darkness, shadows and the light. I would hope darkness does not rule. I much prefer the light.

ReplyDeleteHi Rain,
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!
Sorry, I was away from blogging for the last few weeks and could not visit your blog nor update my blog for sometime
Darkness encroaches on us every day whether we want it or not. Luckily, daylight is not too far away.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteVery philosophical, Rainfield..It's always interesting to "read" your brain at work.
ReplyDeletewhen darkness rules, look forward to the dawn where light slowly creeps in.
ReplyDeleteRainfield, I love the way you see things, the contrast with darkness and light in a philosophical whisper between light and dark. Beautiful photos and inspirational post.
ReplyDeleteI like the golden light on the trees and the butterfly's long dramatic shadow.
ReplyDeleteLight and dark, day and night... forever
ReplyDeleteThe stars and the moon are winking in the dark so we won't lose our way..your images are terrific- wishing you a wonderful weekend:)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tabib...
ReplyDelete"Light simply surrenders herself totally when darkness rules." So true and we can only appreciate light through darkness.
ReplyDeleteI love those times of day when light and dark change places. It's the time most other people seem to avoid.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful post.
ReplyDeleteI have to confess that I am always a little bit afraid of the dark...
I would be reluctant to be out in the dark but dawn would be nice, when the world is waking up. I am just a coward to trek in unknown places under cover of darkness.
