This is a place that we have long abandoned. It ever led us to some other places that we had wished to. It did enjoy its moments of glory during which many languages had been overheard in either happy or sad tones, and from the young or the elders.
We have long abandoned this place, but it is not true as to these little yellow flowers. Both of them never catch the eye of the passers-by, but this place is now a paradise of the later.

Rainfields very poetic but as an aging train spotter I have some burning questions.

ReplyDeleteFunny coincidence: yesterday I took a picture of some flowers at train station, too. Mine are blue, but I don't know their name.
these flowers are common and can be found almost everywhere and are often ignored.

ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that the rail line has been abandoned, but it is a great place for these pretty yellow flowers to bloom and show off. I'm glad you spotted them.

This is just a break from my Cerok Tokun hike. I took all these pictures while my son was waiting for the train to Singapore.

Once upon a time, there was a railway that started from Cerok Tokun and led the passengers to the Paradise. But most of us are now too bad to be eligible for the trip, it was abandoned.

ReplyDeleteThe 1st pic is really unique. We've got an abandoned track here too running parallel to the working ones in our village. And these lil flowers, they remind me of the ones we had at school and we'd pop their heads off to see if they were male or female. lol Some would jump an inch or two high while others would slide and tumble down.
These are so ordinary things but from a different perspective they look quite refreshing. A place where life and the lifeless coexist.
i never knew the name for that flower and i used to play with it when i was a kid....i flick it to hit my playmates! lol...sorry naughty me
