"If you are a bird, why would you live on the ground?"
So weird. Sallie prompts me to ask a crab on my way climbing up Penang Hill.
"If you are crab, why wouldn't you stay nearby a creek and go crabbing in the middle of a road instead."
No way you come all the way to greet me. I am not popular in a crab world.
You too, because you are shellfish?
Or is it hungover, a miscalculated effect after a couple of shots of Dutch courage? Oh do I hear you rightly? Alcohol kills weakest brain cells. Regular consumption of alcohol thus helps take us to a new level of smartness.
What a crab.
I love Crabs, but I couldn't make love to her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the crab!
ReplyDeleteExcellent closeups of the Crab. Your write up gave me a good laugh, especially the bit about being shellfish
ReplyDeleteGreat close ups. Hope you are having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello Rainfield, I never knew crabs were so wise! Great captures and closeups, fun post. But, they are not smart enough to stay off the road. It is not a safe place for crabs. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post today. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI hope that the crab was not drunk :). * Thank you, that you remember me and greet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a crab indeed. ~ Wonderful macro shots of the wandering crab ~

Kind regards, Helma
I have never seen a crab in nature. How lucky you were to find that one. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteHi. A super cool photo of crabs.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever heard the song Crabs Walk Sideways And Lobsters Walk Straight by the Smothers Brothers? It has a surprise ending you will appreciate. It can be found on youTube.
ReplyDeleteHi! Your photos of the crab are very cool. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! Hope he discovered way back home! hahahha...
ReplyDeleteSo you might find a drunken crab in odd places? It sounds right to me.
ReplyDeleteAwesome images! Have a great week! Maybe you'll meet a few more crabs...
ReplyDeletei like this creature ,nicely captured by your artistic hand and eye
ReplyDeleteOh my why IS he walking down the street? -- Just one more thing I don't understand! (There are so many of those things!) We are not popular with crabs either -- mostly, I am sure, because we used to be quite good at catching them and eating them. They are plentiful in the Pacific Ocean off the Oregon Coast. (Your picture shows that the crab has an obvious face -- something I always tried to ignore (maybe the alcohol helped). I am not a very good Vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteWhy did the crab cross the street? LOL
ReplyDeleteI love crabs but mostly for eating.
I like alcohol too a night cap
Crab on the road? that is asking for trouble.. :)
