Any species of mushrooms are never annoying when staying in groups. They do not complain, get rowdy or be rude like us.
I always never avoid but would squad beside them, spending minutes trying to visualise them.
We all have our differences, but deep down, I learn to know, we are the same. Our life is a gift of beautiful surprises.
And they surprise me this time when I find mushrooms of both pictures are actually different, though they are equally good to serve wine.

Wonderful words to go with your lovely pictures. Life IS a series of beautiful surprises. It is good to remember to keep appreciating that when you are an"upper-middle-aged" lady like I am. (OK, old.)
ReplyDeleteThese beautiful mushrooms do look like chalices (a memory from my Catholic childhood). Nowadays, I would say they look like wine glasses and nowadays I am suddenly thirsty!
Such perfect little wine glasses. Now we need a fantasy species to use them.

ReplyDeleteThe last mushroom cups, so perfect and shining in the sun, are so pretty, the golden color is so ethereal, as they are lifted up to receive the blessings God is pouring out on them.
