Days are made different, thus we have reunion dinner in New Year eve, and go door-to-door wishing friends a happy new year.
One of my friends chose to be like trees, life without festivals; he went hiking instead.
In fact, trees have no choice but then enjoy seeing funny people come and go. Who knows, A Little Prince might have shown them the drawing of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant once upon a time.
Life is fun since our calendars and dates are split into different sets; we tend to ponder whether that is a hat or a boa constrictor.
Hope you had a good time going through the festivities...
ReplyDeleteDrzewa niech się patrzą na Ciebie, spaceruj i nie myśl o "kapeluszu". Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteTrees let them look at you, walk and do not think about the "hat". Yours.
oh, that is a great question on the last! i think someone got eaten!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful new year's holiday. I wouldn't be surprised if you got in some hiking as well.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back!

ReplyDeleteOh I hope you had a wonderful New Year holiday with all the festivities. We tend to celebrate our New Year holiday the way your friend did, non-traditionally, out in nature!
ReplyDeleteLove the Little Prince. First read it in French! Probably couldn't any more. Hope I can still read the trees, though.

I miss firecrackers of the old days.... when every Chinese house had firecrackers hanged like curtains and simultaneously set them off.... and of course a sweet treat of Kuih Bakul (or kuih bulan)
