There
are eyes to watch us watching them, on the information highway, and on those
downtown sidewalks. Our every moment is captured, and archived in gigabytes.
There
are eyes to watch us watching them, in the wild, and in the forest, either when
we are “bookmarking” or merely wandering around. These are remembered and gossiped
through the whistling breeze in the leaves.
There
are eyes to watch us watching them, no matter you know it, or not. You better behave
yourself for not becoming a digital sore or a laughing stock in the jungle. The
later may last for centuries.
There are always eyes watching us wherever we go. The only thing we can do is watch them back.
ReplyDeleteW dżungli lepiej dokładnie widzieć czyje oczy Cię obserwują. Będzie bezpieczniej. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteIn the jungle more carefully to see whose eyes are watching you. It will be safer. Yours.
Great forest.. Congrats for the pictures..
ReplyDeleteIt is not easy seeing who is watching us in the forest. So many leaves in the way. Lovely photos, Rainfield. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh you are so good with your wonderful words! I just like this post much more than I can tell you!!!
ReplyDeleteThose trees are so tall, fun to imagine all the curious eyes that could be watching!
ReplyDeletei just love how you watch the world. :) and are watched.
ReplyDeleteSilently they watch, keeping record of our passing. Do you see them? Can you feel them? Blending into silence.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Yes, we are always being watched.
ReplyDeleteall eye's on US!!!
ReplyDeletesounds a bit scary when there are eyes around us.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and fun post ~ so true ~ wu wei ~ carol, xo
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were watching the forest while it was watching you. You got a couple of beautiful photos of the forest with those tall trees.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to lash out a 70-200mm barrel with extension tube and shoot those curious eyes up there. That would be lovely.
ReplyDeleteBTW, did you manage to get a glimpse of them?
I never feel in your pictures alone in the forest, there's always someone who sees me and follows me. Think about perspective, feel small and safe / Brita
ReplyDeleteFor sure there are many eyes watching us. :)
ReplyDeletei chuckle at the last line, indeed, we better behave or else become a digital sore :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great concept that you can't escape prying eyes even in the forest!

Hi! Big Brother is even in forest!?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I always know there are birds and animals watching when we walk through the foresty areas near us here. Or in the swampy areas when we're in Florida (there you have to look down, because some of those eyes have mouths that you don't want to tangle with!)
ReplyDeleteI love your photos and words Rainfield. And remember, I am always watching you :)
ReplyDeleteSo right ... they'll last much longer than us!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll just close my eyes
ReplyDeleteand pretend I don't know.
Oh, my, I don't want to be a laughing stock for centuries lol
ReplyDeleteTo watch or not to watch? Someone is watching from a distance..
ReplyDeleteTo keep a watch of who is there, but it wont take me a second look!!!

I'd rather have the trees keep watch over me than feel the eyes of millions of circuits record my every thought.
ReplyDeleteI would not wish to be a laughing stock anywhere!!
