Do I have to "hop off the straight and narrow whenever I can and take the winding paths, in order to experience the exhilaration of the view from the edge?"
So I hop like a frog, but I am really not, thus I settle down to walk like a man again.
Interestingly, I manage to enjoy beauties while staying in the straight and narrow, without taking any winding paths, and without hopping.
The beauties stay straight in front of me, all the time. No tricks, and no hide and seek.
Es sind halt die Kleinigkeiten in denen sich unendlich viel schönes versteckt...

What a wonderful way of seeing!
ReplyDeleteLepiej już nie baw się w żabę, bo nie potrzeba. Sam widzisz jakie masz piękne zdjęcia chodząc prostą drogą. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteYou'd better not play with a frog, because I do not need. You see what you have beautiful pictures of walking the straight path. Yours.
but hopping is fun!! it takes you to places no frog has jumped before ;)))
ReplyDeleteI just stopped by my friend to say,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the walk with you today.
you see beauty in the tiniest of things. thanks for taking us along for the 'hop' or walk.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can give us such wonderful photos while staying on the straight and narrow. You have a great eye for Nature's beauty.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photographs, thanks for sharing. why would you be a frog? you seem to be a very sensitive man for the beauty that surround us. congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteYou can see a lot in the woods even if you stay on the straight and narrow path with your feet. As long as your eyes roam around! (And you see so much beauty! Thanks for sharing it.)
ReplyDeleteRainfield, you do have a way of making even the simplests look beautiful. I enjoyed your hop or hike in your forest. Lovely post, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe last shot is magical. Sounds like you had a nice walk or hop in the forest! Enjoyed your post. :)

ReplyDeleteThat's ok. You don't resemble any of our political frogs in Sabah at all. You found beauties along your straight and narrow path!

ReplyDeleteP/S I saw your comment in Angie's blog, no problem you can copy my quote from her comment box.

Your path is littered with so much beauty! Why would you want to go off track! Beautiful captures :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend :)
Beautifully with the simple! Nicely photographed in backlight. I love the first image with the two leaves of the reflexes in the background / Brita
ReplyDeleteA frog has to hop, but you can hop, walk, crawl, and run without much thought.
ReplyDeleteI think it's important as we journey through life to see the world every day as if everything is brand new - like a child does. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely collection of beauties (and you didn't even have to jump like a frog to find them :)
ReplyDeleteSweet story! I love taking walks in woods. My dogs enjoy it even more :)
ReplyDeleteYou have found the light in the darkness.
ReplyDeleteSo true, if we stay on a certain path and walk slowly, we will see more. It's hard to discover the beauty in the little things without stopping to look. Beautiful photos! Thanks for posting and blessings, Nancy
ReplyDeleteI love interesting photos first.
ReplyDeleteaah, all your pictures always have a touch of magic, which i really like so much:)
ReplyDeletehope you're having a good weekend~

Nice post. Sometimes we miss the beauty that is right before us because we spend so much time thinking only about the side paths.
ReplyDeletebeautiful images, Rainfield, love the composition and depth of field in each of your photos, and as always, awesome thoughts :)
ReplyDeleteFor the size of frogs, theirs eyes are massive. I bet they can see more!!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics as usual and I love your interpretation.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward for more amazing pictures.
Beautiful effects of light on colour. I can't decide on a favourite - i like the last for it's simplicity and composition, the second for the textures and patterns and the first for it's drama and contrast.
ReplyDeleteLove the back-lighting. xo
ReplyDeleteAmazing and lovely!
