Though failing to be a king marginally, I am still the king of my kingdom of imagination. Conferment and crown aside, my hike that looked rugged continued,
but seeing me enjoying joyful sunlight on behalf of my camera, between some ups and downs, and twists and turns.
I then stumbled upon a slummy stopover out of nowhere. That would definitely led me not back to a palace.
My thought outran me again. I might find myself entering into a slum after this stop.
In just a few steps away, can a Slumdog Millionaire be better than a king?

ReplyDeleteServus

It's wonderful to have your own kingdom. :))
ReplyDeleteGood to have your own world of imaginations !
ReplyDeleteI imagine a Slumdog Millionaire would be far more noble as he has had to overcome so much more.
ReplyDeleteIf you are the king of your imagination, then the Slumdog Millionaire could may be the king as well in his own kingdom!
ReplyDeleteIntriguing images, Mr. Rainfield King!
it is murky but intriguing!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! Thanks for visiting
ReplyDeletei don't always get it, even though i read it several times!!
ReplyDeleteperhaps you are the king of imagination and i am the queen of ordinary thoughts!! or maybe i just think too much!!
i love the images!!
That first image is really spooky!
ReplyDeleteYour subjects seem to be happy living in the dark.
ReplyDeleteYou ARE the king of the "kingdom of imagination"!
ReplyDeleteNo one comes even close to second place; you reign!
There's a whole world in your kingdom~ Even the slums are beautiful.
ReplyDeletei love how you are seeing the lights and all the rugged contours you have seen, you are one philosophical king rainfield, that sees the beauty and miracle in those rugged tracks
ReplyDeletea lot of the tracks i've seen are like this. Not that it's a hindrance to avid hikers tho.
ReplyDeleteyour kingdom of imagination is filled with wonders. enjoy your weekend, Rainfield. !
ReplyDeleteIts like a scene out from the movie...the heart goes badump badump badump...
ReplyDeleteŚwiatełko się pokazało, ale przeszkody są duże, może jednak dotrzesz do pałacu. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteThe light has shown up, but the obstacles are great, but can get to the palace. Yours.
You Changed a Beggar Into a King not certainly a Slumdog Millionaire is better than a King.
ReplyDeleteAm always amazed at your imagination. Great pictures!

ReplyDeleteYou have succeeded in making my imagination fly away!! Lovely shots! The roots of that tree look a giant lizard or snake! But I know you are 'king' of this area and will protect us.

Hello and thank you for all your comments during the week I have been in Innerdalen. The network has been a little shaky so I have invested in uploading pictures, have not had the time or had the opportunity to comment on other blogs.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a fantastic week in a completely fabulous nature.
Staying in the middle of the subject and have so many opportunities to various tour's goal is a privilege. I was there last year at this time and I will go there next year. Innerdalen is about 20 mil syvväst of Trondheim, a long trip, but worth every mil.
Looking at your blog that you had great natural experiences too. I like your little dark and mysterious images of dark woods / Brita
Sorry for the late visit!
ReplyDeleteYour photos show the mystery of the jungle, but as for the movie, I don't see anything special about it.
I love that little sunlit trail among the roots. Perfect for a tiny Alice.
ReplyDeleteLucky October you
ReplyDeletewith a kingdom and all
and lucky us to be watching : )
Oh I love your way with words it makes my imagination soar.:) B
ReplyDeleteI definitely think you are a king, especially when it comes to getting wonderful photos when hiking through your kingdom.
ReplyDeleteYour captures are very very good, they are a real food for thought when combined with your words.
ReplyDeleteYour imagination is what makes you the king :)
Have a wonderful week ahead :)
Now that's a place that would stir your imagination!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting kingdom you've got there. Nice mysterious pics but it sure gives a spooky feeling, like a ghost (not a millionaire) would pop up any second. :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks like cool movie set, I wonder what you will see next.
ReplyDeleteYou're really the king of your world! ;)
ReplyDeleteI really like the roots. Thanks for sharing at Your Sunday Best.
ReplyDeleteSome of those roots are pretty creepy, reminding me of slithering snakes. I'm not overly fond of snakes.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed "Slumdog Millionaire" though it is sad to see so many slums here in India. People living in, what hardly passes for dwellings, on the roadside but they can still smile and would offer you a bite of their food.
