All trees are alike: ground their bed, and sky is the blanket; morning dews the liquor, and breeze is the music.
What if trees sleep and dream, do they see the same?

They may be a thinker in sober mediation, or a philosopher in search of wisdom,
but they regularly fall into a hypnotic trance every day, the aftereffect of the morning scenery.
Hitting by an apple, for sure, is not a strong medicine for inspiration. A durian is. And the truths of life blossom.

Good choice for the header. Beautiful scenery for that one and actually all the rest of the photos in this post too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post and photos, Rainfield. You do have a way with words. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos of area, Rainfield! If trees have dreams, then I do too.
ReplyDelete(Durian is one fruit that gives me an instant migraine.)
interesting question as to whether all trees dream the same. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very nice hike.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip

ReplyDeleteTrees don't move, so they must be spending their whole life meditating and watching people and sky pass them by.
ReplyDeleteThose are just breathtaking!
ReplyDelete"ground their bed, and sky is the blanket; morning dews the liquor, and breeze is the music " ha..very well put!
Eating Durian is like eating sweet raspberry blancmange in the lavatory” I think I got it..and was wondering the same about leaving it to ripen (pros an cons huh (lol)..guess I houldn't be surprised about the squirrels enjoying them either! Wishing you a good weekend-
Hitting by a durian may inpire one to go into exploring another world I guess...;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely post - both the pictures and your words...
ReplyDeleteBeing hit by such a ferocious fruit (it looks dangerous) is a good inspiration for sure :)
Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Rainfield!
ReplyDeleteYou're so way up there! Great photos. You surely had a terrific hike.
Beautioful photos!
ReplyDeleteDurian? hahhahaa...
if trees sleep and dream, they will surely dream about bearing good fruits and perhaps you. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour photos as always, are so pretty and intriguing even. What a lovely place to walk. Hmm...now I wonder about the sky above us all..
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs, but, then, they always are. I contemplated the thought of getting hit by a durian. Yikes...and, if it split open, with its strange fragrance, that would be quite awful, I think. I have eaten durian...not my favorite fruit. I prefer mangoes and, most especially, that heavenly mangosteen!
ReplyDeletefantastic place! Lovely photos..
