I climbed Penang Hill

What did I chirp in reply to a bird last Sunday morning? I told I came from Cerok Tokun Hill, some 34km away with Penang Bridge in between. Arriving there without a strong pair of wings sure was a problem.

Penang Bridge in the background

The conversation never escaped the ears of Penang Hill. "I see, you called that girl Cerok Tokun Hill.”

This big brother took a pause while rubbing my shoulders with some tall grasses, and continued, “It is hazy right now. I’ll date her later.”

And its words lingered in the air, within the trees, when breeze passing. The girl might have already overheard that,

A tunnel next to Penang Hill Railway top station.
.
for the words have left a tunnel.

  8. These are fantastic photos! A beautiful view and the tunnel is just too cool! You must of been exhausted not having a strong pair of wings! Well, I had to enlarge my page xx because I couldn't enlarge the pictures (sigh)..the words may be echoing in that tunnel....

  9. Wikipedia states it "...is a leisurely hike of 2-3 hours..." up the road to the top, with two "rest stops" along the way.

For THIS oldie, anything--ANYTHING which lasts 2-3 hour does NOT fall into the classification of 'leisurely'--grin!

With or without wings, I am sure you had a great day. Malaysia sounds like a well-run country. I'll read more about it...

    Thanks! PEACE!

  12. i smiled after reading your "arriving there without a strong of pair of wings was a problem", sure it's pretty amazing to get bird's eye view, only that we work so much harder than the birds to get to see what they can see.

  17. You would look quite interesting, I think, with wings..and I imagine there'd be no keeping you at home if you had them. You might even come visit me in San Francisco!
