Let’s take a post break from Cerok Tokun, though nobody will ever get tired with her, physically or mentally, soaked or bored. She is always my weekend lover.
I have my weekday lovers, at home.
One of them let me dwell under its vine tree, although life with her tastes very sour.
Another offer me a bitter bite, but keep reminding me about the silver lining of every cloud.
The third that looks hairy and odd is usually a joker who sweets and sours me from time to time.
Someone said, "There are many pretty ladies but we can only be in love with one; so powerless."
I do not quite agree with this.
Thank you for sharing these fascinating characters!
ReplyDeleteI can't stop smiling. It is definitely autumn there.
ReplyDeleteI boiled mulberry soup today. I used the new shoots so that it is really soft and nice.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be impossible to choose only one love from among this trio.
ReplyDeleteTop one looks like a type of squash fhilipino's use here on the islands..second resembles a boysenberry? At any rate your stringing two lovers along!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! How about a taste of the sour, bitter and sweet all at the same time. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteLike the colours.
ReplyDeleteYou need only to be patient for some of these beauties to be sweeter. The mulberry, for instance, needs about three days.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are so entertaining Rainfield :) Sometimes you have to take the sweet with the sour when it comes to lovers.
ReplyDeleteThese shots are extraordinary!
What is that green one in the middle? It's very surrealistic.
ReplyDeletecan I have some bittermelon please? lovely shots by the way from your garden.
ReplyDeleteYour weekday lovers are quite fascinating too!
ReplyDeleteWas smiling as I read this post...
ReplyDeleteDoes it make one powerless when you can love only one person? Well, I might agree with you but depends on the situation. hahaha
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny post. Fruit as your weekday lovers :) You made me smile...
ReplyDeleteThey are all attractive in their own ways. You can love them equally.
ReplyDeleteWe can be in love with very many at a time, but we are lucky when even one loves us back.
ReplyDeleteso Rapunzel must be one of your lady loves. ;)
ReplyDeletethe last paragraph is quite abstract n inspires reflection. still pondering abt it

ReplyDeleteYes, I also learnt about udder. i always thought it was cows who have udders. I can't find a cow udder photo, so I checked if pigs have udders, so what you know, we learn so much with ABC
These fruits (?) look beautiful. Sweet and sour, no matter...a little honey from your honey will make it all perfect.
