I read a prose before went to bed Saturday night. It so happens then I find many trees growing ears in the Sunday morning.
These trees are bored silly by my nonsense week after week, thus ears are found moving higher and higher. When trees grow tall enough to kiss the clouds, ears will only listen to sweet nothings, and nothing more.
This is what they think.
I think otherwise. This will be a suffocating kind of high-altitude romance. They do not know how a moth that flutters about the fire will be.
They have a dream, a dream that better remains as a dream.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to here it, does it make a sound? You have answered it! The trees will hear it.
ReplyDeleteHow cool, the trees do have ears. I'm sure they can be real busybodies listening to everything we say while we are out walking. Cute post and photos, Rainfield.
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteCreative post!
You'll have to be careful about what you say with all those ears around.
ReplyDeleteEar without earring..
ReplyDeleteThey have ears,
ReplyDeleteBut do they hear?
If they hear,
Do they listen?
Guess they do,
Since there are no mouth.
Unless you find them too.
Very unusual to see ears growing on the tree like that..Better to hear you, it said..Wonderful photos, Rainfield.
ReplyDeletehow fortunate those who are deaf... they listen through their hearts.
ReplyDeleteEars very senstive woooh...dont play play! Hahaha...I bet they have eyes too Rainfield and can see you peering at them day after day!
ReplyDeleteThe forest is truly a magical place..the deep emerald captures seem to beckon..your analogy was on spot (lol)..thanks for being here (I'll have something fuzzy up soon) smile-:)
ReplyDeletebeautiful tree ears, never thought of that, and really unique ones.
ReplyDeleteThere is an old fashioned saying here "little pitchers have big ears." It means that children hear more than the adults think, and may come out with embarrassing facts some time later. This post made me think of that!
ReplyDeleteyou better hike in silence ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, of course trees have ears! Otherwise, why do some people ask for 4D no. from a tree?
ReplyDeleteUntil they get mouths, those trees should be good at keeping secrets.
ReplyDeleteWill a cool breeze blowing into the tree ears send chills down their spines? If you hear their leaves rustle, you will know their answer.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful post! Well done...
ReplyDeleteU didn't look for the linzhi?
