(吹皱一池春水,干卿何事?)
I am not fond of voyeuristic business. The lack of a private place was a real problem to them.
And I was not alone. Though holding no camera, this moth stayed side by side with me to witness this happening.
I live just a simple-minded life; I did not know what it was thinking. It might be a philosopher, or just another peeping Tom.
The couple might be done, too shy, frustrated, or angry. They separated.
One of them left abruptly.
I continued to picture the other half, but it left immediately after a brief rest.
When turning around, I found no company. I was the only third party.
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos of a "private moment". It's the nature of life..
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of these mates..They had to hurry because you were watching..ha!
ReplyDeletePretty butterflies. They looked pretty large.
ReplyDeleteIm amazed that you could snap those private moments so easily. I find it hard even to snap a ladybird. By the time I get my camera, its gone!
ReplyDeleteNice moment shot. I only see white cabbage butterfly laying eggs.
ReplyDeletePrivacy rainfield?
ReplyDeleteoh well those are great shots!
happy new year!
great shots. u shud consider getting a video cam
ReplyDeleteThey are a beautiful couple! You always capture great nature moments. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I have more of these. But you are going to say something bad so I didn't post them.
ReplyDeleteAnother private moment that was captured very well by you...
ReplyDeleteIt seems the jungle is not big enough for insects to have their privacy.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder some insects become extinct, the photographers interrupt their mating season, and they they may only have this one chance.
ReplyDeleteWas watch a python which ate an antelope. Don't know if it is through, after eating, he doesn't have to eat for a year.

In Australian, my cousin had a big python which ate a big possum. The snake catches came, caught it, and then released it so it will go to another house. So bodoh!!!!!
These were simply amazing shots. The colour and the life of it all.\
ReplyDeleteYes, I have tried keow teow which was one my weekly must have food :)
Very beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteWow!! You watched the whole process.
ReplyDeleteAnd you disturbed them from the beginning.
What a stunning insect!
ReplyDeleteThis is another set of beautiful macros. I'm glad the other moth was just another 'watcher' instead of a policeman come to arrest you for being a Peeping Tom.
ReplyDeleteWhat an idea! A policeman from their colony who was on patrol.
ReplyDelete"You are under arrest!"
Wow!! Cool!!
Romantic. LOL. Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteBullying is quite a problem here. We teachers are not allowed to publish kids.
ReplyDeleteIn my photo:
The little boy blue is not so little, he is my 14 year old son and he is taller than me.
It was after we had to walk on a lot of volcanic rocks, and I was far behind.
They were waiting for me, and he was squatting there resting while waiting for me.
The cows came so near to him.
This is another place where I showed you the sheep.
It's summer, and we want to make the best use of our holidays. So we have been out almost every alternate day. In winter, I usually hibernate and don't go out.
Love certainly is in the air !
ReplyDeletelovely macros :)
gosh, you just were there to enjoy their private moment :)
ReplyDelete"I was the only third party"..but then you plastered it all over the internet! lol)
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!! Very nice contrast- sharp and clear:)
Keep peeping (ha ha)
Yes nice couple! Captured well!! :D
ReplyDeleteOutstanding photos! You were really fortunate watching that "private moment".
ReplyDeleteBy the way, happy new year rainfield! (better to be late than never :)))
Perhaps they arranged to meet somewhere else, outside the venue of prying eyes, rainfield!!
