A Hidden Waterfall

Just like many others, I have never stepped into this gazebo before. It was off the trekking trail and looked shaky. That must be why a Plantain Squirrel looked uneasy and suspicious the moment I went inside, this morning. But then I knew it sure had another reason: there was a small waterfall being hidden from the outer world.

I was still restricted by my thought.

Alright then, I rested my camera on the backpack, and kicked off an uninterrupted photo session again.

Let's tell the squirrel that its world looks very different and much beautiful in the eye of a camera, but can it understand?

    Squirrels are generally regarded as pests that often consume and proliferate non stop.

    Still, the images from your wild life experience is soooo interesting to browse through.

    I checked through the Internet, "Squirrels usually have three basic forms of communications: tail waving, chirping and barking.

    Tail waving is usually done to communicate with squirrels across a distance, like waving a flag, and is normally done as a warning to be on guard.

    Barking is typically only done when hostility is required, such as when an animal is too close to the babies.

    Chirping seems to be the more playful form of squirrel communication.

    Learn to recognize these sounds, and practice them whenever you can."

    So let's practice more and they will understand you.

    Speaking of waterfalls, I discovered a man-made one which I have not spotted before at the Lake Gardens just yesterday evening. Must be a newly constructed one. I hope the park authorities make efforts to maintain it well as an existing one is in really bad shape and it's filthy.
